I am a returning customer and have had the pleasure of receiving the services of Tamika Westley. Tamika is professional and personable. She is also very knowledgeable about natural hair care. Tamika throughly addressed all of my hair care concerns. She also asked questions of me to have a better understanding of what products she would apply and recommend I use at home. If I had further questions after our scheduled appointment, I would email Tamika and she would always respond. She is the holy grail and has put me at ease as I continue along this natural hair care journey.

Tamika’s been SLAYING my hair since 2019. Having her as my beautician is the BEST decision I’ve ever made for my hair. She’s helped me through my natural journey, relaxers, transitioning from relaxer to natural, big chops, pixie cuts, long healthy hair. You name it she does it. I love her :-)

What an experience! I walked away with not only the perfect hair cut - I was looking for someone with the combined skill of a master barber and stylist, which I found in Tamika - but also such a wealth of knowledge that made me better understand hair and how to care for it and my scalp! She also shared great resources that I was able to take back to a salon team I work with.

Tamika is a wizard/genius of hair care. An expert in color, her knowledge of chemistry and the science of hair far exceeds the expertise of every other stylist whom I have patronized over the past decades. My hair (and spirit) feel pampered and healthy.

I was in search of a hair stylist who not only can style hair but truly cared about natural hair care. I found Tamika on the Black Girl Curls directory and I'm glad I did. Her Instagram page shows her exceptional work and knowledge of true hair BUT thats not all she has to offer. I made my appointment and was really hoping that my hair care specialist search was over and it is!! Tamika is so nice, caring, passionate about what she does, knowledgeable about what she knows and her personality is so welcoming and positive, the experience was worth it and then some. She discussed general proper hair care and even my own hair; thoroughly!! I learned a lot about my hair than I ever did before. From the preparation of shampooing and conditioning, the duration of all products an its purposes, styling techniques and things like humidity and etc. So much learned in my first visit that I knew she was who I was looking for. She's worth the experience! And I'm coming from another state..I can't wait for my next appointment!

My salon experience with Tamika is easily the best I’ve ever had. After a lot of bad experiences through childhood, I hate having my hair touched. I didn’t even flinch with Tamika. We had a great conversation, my hair looks amazing (first curly cut), and I can’t wait to go back.

My appointment with Tamika was over a month ago, I’m ashamed to say. So sorry Tamika! (I took so long to write a review because of my schedule.) I found it to be an eye opening experience regarding the care of my hair and the hair goals I’d like to achieve. I totally loved the results with my wash n’ go when Tamika was finished. The definition was amazing. I’ve been following Black Girls Curls for about a year. Tamika went further into educating me about my scalp, into what my hair could look like continuing in the style I’d like to achieve, about color and many other things. Another thing I’m sorry about….is that I didn’t take a selfie of my style when she was done. I hope to be going back to her in a month and continuously. I know that what I do will never produce what Tamika did and I’m cool with that. Although I’m satisfied with my finished style when I’m done, I just would like to get as close to what she does. I will definitely take pics the next time I go to her.

Tamika is an amazing hairstylist. She is very knowledgeable about hair health. She helped me transition from using chemical relaxers to natural textured/curly hair. Her hair salon is small and there is rarely a wait (at most 15 minutes or so while she is finishing up client). Most often I am the only client in her salon, which is nice, and she gives her client her full attention. My hair has never been healthier and I constantly receive comments on how great it looks.

Wesley Styles is the place to go!! I found Tamkia on the Curl Specialist Directory and I’m overjoyed with my decision to choose her. The reviews are accurate Ladies and Gentlemen she’s Amazing. She takes her time goes over your profile(Provided during booking). I had tons of questions in which she thoroughly explained. This women took out a mini board and marker to explain questions I had about my hair. It gets no better then that!!!! 🤣😂 School me Sis I’m here for it all👍🏾.Very satisfied with my Cut and Styling. Nothing but 🌟 ⭐️ 💫 across the board.

I cannot WAIT for this Covid quarantine to be over so I can finally get my look back. Wesley is the only one who knows how to work with my hair. Plus the music & beverages are like a mini vacation in the middle of the day. I leave here feeling like a million bucks EVERY single time.
