Even during rush hour you can usually get on the machine you want. If not it tends to be only a 5 minute wait or so even with machines being blocked for Covid. I've been to Lifetime, PF, Genesis, etc. And West O tops all of them. It may have limited luxuries but it has what matters for people wanting to drop pounds or gain muscle mass or even just pose for that next instagram picture. Clean facility. Staff is willing to help with any questions or concerns. Guests seem to understand we all workout differently and for different goals so you won't feel any judgement and egos seem to be left at the door. Only cons is getting in the Sauna can be a pain as it's very compact but just like the machines, simply waiting a little bit and you can usually get access. You cannot beat the price or 24/7 access. UPDATE: The gym has lost its cleanliness factor. Dust everywhere. Don't look up if your bothered by dust. It's not pretty. Dont bother splurging for Premium Amenities if you go early in the morning or later in the evening. You won't be able to use them as the staff is not present.

Clean, not too busy. Polite, friendly staff. I love that this is open 24 hours a day.

Sad to see the early reviews mentioned clean facility… in the 4 years I have been using it has gone downhill fast. I almost always use the same elliptical machine and I don’t think it has been cleaned in 6+ months other than the 2 times I did it because… a pic included. Also bulbs in tanning booths have not been changes in 4 yrs. I am fair skinned and 15 minutes barely does anything… hate to be negative but facts are facts.

This his a great gym. It’s clean and well managed. There’s ample equipment, if you’re motivated you will have no trouble accomplishing your goals in here. The staff is very nice.

Used this gym for about 5-6 years and finally had to leave and sign up for a membership elsewhere due to the reasons below: *Cleanliness - I feel like everything is dirty. All the corners are filled with dust, underneath the free weights rack is filthy, and I generally feel like everything I touch is dirty. I rarely see employees doing anything other than sitting at the front desk on their phones. The sauna is filthy. The workout mats are filthy. All corners are filled with dust/hair/dead bugs. Any part of the weights or machines that are regularly touched feel grimy. *Teenagers - the last few years, it has become the hangout spot for young teens (under 18). They are constantly goofing around and take up machines/benches for a very long time without actually using them. They are there for social hour. I’d say 2/3 of the gym patrons are under 18 if you go anytime after school. They’re also constantly taking pictures / videos and just generally being obnoxious. *Tanning - They have the worst beds I have ever used. I have never used one there with all of the bulbs working. They always seem dirty and I don’t think anyone has ever cleaned below/behind them. There is no maintenance on them whatsoever and I am pretty sure they use the wrong chemicals to clean them, which damages the plexiglass (which is cracked). It seems like the gym is totally neglected. I just switched to a new gym this week and I’m wondering why I waited so long. I loved West O Fitness when it first opened but it has been in a continuous decline since before COVID hit and just gets worse. As a local business owner I am ashamed there is people like West O fitness in business. My debit card expired and they continued to let me workout everyday never notifying me that my card was not being charged. Today my credit was hit with collections and dropped 75 points. I called and the lady said “I'm sorry there’s nothing I can do” you should notify your clients immediately upon check in if their account is not being charged.

I called to explain my husband cannot come in to the gym anymore due to being sick. I was told I have to mail a letter in and that there will be an additional month of payment. When a business has no compassion for the people who attend their gym, it's not a place I'd choose to do business with again. I Spoke to Mary the manager and she absolutely had no regard for our situation.

Sometimes the staff gets locked out when they’re taking out the trash and you have to let them back in. Other than that, it’s really nice!!!

Kind of small and crowded. Have to fight for the machines and weights all the time. The good thing about it is that they have a sauna and are open 24 hours.

Only been a few times so far - but it’s super clean with updated equipment, everyone is very friendly and it’s easy to navigate your way around the gym. A+ for coincidentally being 5 minutes from my apartment in a good area.

I've been a member for quite some time off and on. This place is awesome, clean, affordable and the management goes above and beyond to keep their customers. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a great experience and an even better gym.

I’ve been a member since 2019. This is a great place to train as they have all essential equipment in a clean friendly environment. It’s also the best low-cost no contract gym I’ve been around in Omaha. It is also 24 hour access with the keychain member card so you do not need to worry about what their hours are. We have people of all body shapes and sizes at our gym and I’ve never witnessed any body shaming of any type. Come train at West O Fitness!

Joined this gym just for the classes. Have gone 3 times and only once was there class. I drive way out of my way to the Harrison Street location since they have classes on Sunday and Wednesday according to the website. Very disappointed so far!
