I came to West Vibe for a full color transition from blonde to brunette, and my partner came for a bleach & tone. The staff is SO knowledge. And they educated us so much about making the right choices for our hair health, our budget, and what would compliment our natural skin tones. Caesar gave my boyfriend the best haircut of his life (he's channeling Barbie Ryan Gosling now), and Elizabeth over delivered for me with a rich chocolate brown but still dimensional. We feel like a million bucks! And we even got to practice some Spanish with them 🤗 this is a wonderful salon that really supports community and I couldn't be more grateful that we live so close! Run, don't wal, to West Vibes. Oh and their coffee cups are adorable.

10/10 I recently went blonde from being a brunette last year and I am so happy with the results. Maria was my stylist and she sat down with me and really explained how the process of being blonde works. She also gave me products recommendations, and a good blowout. If you really want a good laugh and drink out of cute mugs. Highly recommend it here. The west vibe team knows how make a good client experience. ❤️❤️❤️

10/10 experience from start to finish! I went in with a little trauma from my last salon. My hair was uneven and just bad. Caesar not only fixed what the previous salon butchered but he also gave me the style I originally wanted. I feel pretty again and I’m so thankful

I’ve spent a long time looking for a stylist that knew how to cut and color curly hair, until I found Maria. I’ve been getting my hair done exclusively by her for the past 6 years, and she and all of West Vibe Salon deliver nothing but the best service! It took a lot of trial and error to find a salon and stylist that I trust. Started coming here when I was living in HK and now commute to see Maria from uptown. She knows what to do. Can’t say my anxiety of cutting too much is gone but I trust her immensely. It’s been amazing to see West Vibe thrive and move into a beautiful new space. 5 stars, always❤️

I have been searching for over a year in where a hair stylist actually cares in what my hair I want it to be. The attention and detail all started with a conversation and connection. CAESAR helped changed my hair that I have been wanting for years. I’m so excited that I finally found my hair stylist I can use in NYC.

The team at West Vibe salon is excellent. Maria is a masterful colorist and transformed my hair into the warm tone I has long sought. She is meticulous with the alchemy of color application to ensure it compliments and brightens my skin tone. Equal parts chemist and artist! Cesar’s blow outs leave my hair full of bounce and last for days. Try West Vibe, you won’t be disappointed!

While I wish I could give a better review, the results weren’t what was asked for. I initially had black hair and was looking for a medium to dark neutral, cool town brown. I showed example photos to Maria, and she seemed very knowledgeable about the process and assured there would not be brassiness or red tones (which I specifically asked again just before service - $300). Unfortunately that’s exactly what I got. Then an attempt to tone to help, which made it black again. And then another lightening attempt which made it brassy brown again. At that point I was told to wait for natural light the next day and call. I did and it was still brassy so she offered to fix in the earliest availability. Which was great except when I got back to fix, the quoted cost was $245 for products. I said no and she offered to tone again and assured it would tame the brassiness- it did not and made it black again with brassiness. So now I’m back to wear I started and with a tone I absolutely did not want. The photos show the second attempt at fixing, first photo on the way there, and the next two photos after. UPDATE: the below response from the salon is untrue. In the initial visit, Maria promised no red/warm/brassy tone. She only in the second visit tried to talk me out of the cool neutral brown color I wanted with all this talk of maintenance etc. although I said I would have still done it- without worry of any budget constraint. Except she was then charging another $245 to make it happen. After the original $300 charged.

Good service but haircut messed me up pretty bad. The guy does not even know how to do a taper fade, and cut all of my length off when I specifically said not to!

I was at the West Vibe salon and I had the good fortune of being served by the owner of the place, who gave me the best service, always answering my questions and giving me ideas of what would be best for the makeover I needed, and in the end she recommended the best color for my hair according to my skin color and I honestly loved it, not to mention the best atmosphere, the staff was very friendly, I recommend it 100% and I will return a thousand times more to this place, I love it!!!!!

Fresh off a flight from miami for a conference I went on the hunt for hair dresser that would accept last minute walk ins. It was a NY miracle I found this spot. I saw they had an opening on line and ran hungry and on an seasonally warm eveing. I was greeted by smiles and Reeses peanut butter cups. I was offered wine, and I asked for a recommendation on best pizza in the area. Walked out feeling like a million bucks! I'm bad at remembering names but thank you to the team that was there!

Had a phenomenal experience at West Vibe today. Elizabeth gave me a fantastic cut and blow out (plus A+ salon chair therapy and hair advice), and I feel like a new person. The salon is clean and inviting, and the other staff are very attentive and kind. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment!

I cannot recommend West Vibe Salon enough! I came all the way from the Virginia-DC area for a short weekend trip to attend a special Navy Commissioning for my uncle's ship, which he served on over 40 years ago. Since it was such a meaningful trip, I decided to incorporate a little self-care with some spa day activities -- and I'm so glad I did! Booking my appointment online was seamless, and I had no issues securing a spot with Ceaser. From the moment I arrived, the vibe at West Vibe Salon was welcoming and professional. Ceaser is truly an artist! He listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered a cut and color that I absolutely LOVE. I've received so many compliments since my visit, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Ceaser's attention to detail and care for his clients are unmatched. I got a curly perm and I couldn't be more happy with it!! I have always had super straight hair (attaching a before photo here) so I love the texture Maria was able to give me with the perm. The entire experience was above and beyond what I could have expected. Everything from the shampooing to the actual perming to the haircut and even after care was incredible. So many people were so nice along the way, the entire team being supportive and clear throughout the whole process. Caesar did the cut and he was also beyond incredible. He took what was already an amazing perm and brought it to the next level with textures and shaping. And all throughout, even during the consultation, Maria was very clear about the aftercare that was needed to maintain everything. I got the proper products from her and feel fully prepared to conquer any new style going forward :) P.S. my hair still feels so healthy

Elizabeth’s talent is apparent, and Milana is just amazing at what she does—I always leave feeling confident and refreshed. The new location is perfect too; it’s a great ~vibe~ and so relaxing. The is the best salon! I get full head of either highlights and Maria has helped me through so much like having alopecia she helps me make the best decisions and not only for my hair lol. They have the most experienced & educated stylists. The owner is incredible and makes sure her team is always the best. Everyone is so nice and I’ve even fallen asleep in the chair before! Haha It’s a relaxing, welcoming and fun atmosphere. The best part is I always leave feeling like a new person because they truly make you feel beautiful!
