I went to westend day spa because my son was getting married. I have never had my hair and makeup done professionally before. Jennifer was my beautician and she was amazing!!! She spent 2 1/2 hours on my updo and 45 minutes on my makeup. She was so professional and personable. I received so many compliments on my hair during the wedding. I am so happy that I went to them. They are amazing at what they do and their prices are more than reasonable for the work that they put in. Thank you for helping to make our special day even more memorable.

I got a haircut by Kennedy and absolutely loved my experience. She was so kind and friendly and I enjoyed our conversations throughout the haircut. She was very knowledgeable about hair growth and I look forward to getting another haircut by her in the future. Thank you, Kennedy!

This was my second visit to Westend with Amani, and these have hands down been the best salon experiences I’ve had! Amani is so sweet, and made me feel so comfortable start to finish. She checked in with me throughout both services (the first time a cut, the second time a color) to make sure I was happy with the way it was progressing. She was so thorough and pays such great attention to detail. 1000/10 would recommend her, and will definitely be back 🥰

In town for business and desperately needed an all over color on short notice. I was happy to meet Kennedy. She was friendly, super chill and listened to my color & styling preference. Very happy with the results - covered greys, removed brassy ends and dull highlights to a rich, warm brown pigment. Love that she created the color with no harsh chemicals. She would be my go-to stylist if I lived here. Side note - Word of advice to the salon owner: put up a sign asking patrons to leave politics & other unsavory topics at the door. People want to go to the salon for self-care and a bit of escapism. Total buzz kill when people are inconsiderate, loud and can't read the room. Hello... use your library voice.

I initially wrote review how I was disappointed with my hair on Saturday May 25 th when I got it done . On May 27 I got call from the manager Gloria to discuss how my service went. I explain to her how I was unhappy with the results. She apologized and insisted to make it right. She booked me appointment with one of her hairdressers her name is Marcy and I went the flowing Saturday June 1 st. Marcy redone my hair how I want it I was very pleased with the results. They did at no cost.. that’s outstanding customer service. I was very pleased with the results and I am looking forward for to my next time doing my hair with marcy. Thank you Gloria, for making this right and thanks to Marcy for making my hair how I want it.

I had an amazing experience from start to finish. I was greeted with a hydrating cucumber infused water while I was fitted for my haircut with Amani and then left the salon looking & feeling better than ever!

New to El Paso I am so glad and fortunate to have finally found my new hairdresser, Suzanne, she is great! I’ve tried other recommended, so called stylist only to find out they just know how to cut hair. I would highly recommend Westend it’s very clean, has an incredibly friendly staff and an amazing stylist, Suzanne, who listens to what you’re looking for and what concerns you have about your hair. I love my haircut! Thank you Suzanne. Ask for Suzanne of you’re looking for an amazing haircut and great experience.

This place is great, Victor was my stylist for my recent haircut and I don’t think I will ever go anywhere else. The place is clean and classy. People are very polite and attentive. Victor always understands exactly how I want my hair and his execution is precise. My whole experience here was a 10/10. Highly recommend!

I went to get my hair done 3 weeks ago and as soon as I walked in the hairstylist wanted to reschedule me and hurry me when i was telling him what i wanted. He then did the bleaching and dying and it wasnt a lot of bleaching it was just the bottom layer part of my hair. He did a good job until i showered 3 times and all the dye was gone. Like I couldve bought the product at walmart and it wouldve lasted me longer! He didnt even cut my hair and bleached like a little piece and charged me 160 which it wouldve been okey if the dye wouldve lasted!!!!!!!! And ive already sent pictures through Instagram they left me on seen. I called and they told me they were going to call me and never did.

I wouldn’t recommend this salon. I’m a new client and made an appointment earlier in the week with Gloria. I spoke with Ozzie when I made the appointment for 11:15. I show up and I have no appointment for 11:15. She says it’s for 1:15. I wouldn’t have made that time because I have orientation at work. The receptionist apologized and that’s about it. Also they have no parking so if you do go bring quarters for the meter which I paid for 1.5 hrs just to be turned away. Very unprofessional. I love Aveda and have been using them for over 20 years. This definitely wasn’t the standard I’m use to.

Looks can be deceiving, the place looks very different from the photos online. I was planning on going blonde with them. Booked a consultation and they didn’t even do a strand test to confirm my hair would be alright or not for the procedure. Said I could start with a process of booking several sessions over a period of time to slowly and carefully lighten my hair. Understandable, but odd to make discernments without actually seeing how my hair would react to their products. Booked my first session appointment and it was moved three times due to a variety of reasons from their end. They handled the situation respectfully, but I found the constant cancellations unprofessional and the carelessness disrespectful to my own schedule. Decided Westend was not a good fit for me.

Request Gabi for your hair needs. She’s very knowledgeable and down to earth kind. She’s so helpful and good at what she does. I went in not knowing ahead of time what I needed to do to my overdue haircut. She took the time to talk to me and help me to decide on a haircut. I also love Aveda products they use.

Super good service! I suggest you go in before your planned date to book an appointment because they’re usually packed! I went in on a Wednesday to book and got my appointment on a Saturday. They’re very friendly and listen to whet you envision your hair to be. I wanted a fun color and they gave me that but made sure they wouldn’t cause further damage to my hair. Originally I was okay to bleach it but they suggested otherwise and gave me a keratin treatment as well. :) Definitely coming back!
