I had a fantastic experience at Westside Hair Studio! I booked day-of and Eddie really took the time to listen to what I needed and delivered exactly what I was looking for. The assistants were very nice and super efficient. It’s great to have such a talented stylist in our local area. The pricing was fair, and I absolutely loved the results. Highly recommend!

Kate is a fantastic owner and everything about her salon shows that. Walking in you are always welcomed by pleasant faces. The feel is very homey and comfortable. You will always receive a personalized and professional cut, shampoo and styling included. I will be returning every month for as long as I live in a reasonable distance.

I always enjoy coming here for a haircut. The staff is welcoming and attentive, and the service is top-notch every time. Je mets une étoile car la coiffeuse était super gentille. Très déçue je suis passée par ce coiffeur dès mon arrivée à Los Angeles et j’ai demandé de belles wavys comme sur la photo ci-joint elle m’a demandé 85$ et a même dit qu’elle ferait mieux que sur les photos. J’ai accepté car c’est le prix aux US sauf qu’à ce prix là je pensais que j’allais avoir une magnifique coiffure et je vous laisse regarder le résultat en photo. Elle a saccagé mes cheveux j’aurai dû demander un remboursement. Je ne recommande absolument pas.

I just had the best experience with Kate! I'd gone far too long without a cut, and Kate made some excellent recommendations to help me find a look that I'd be happy with. She even suggested I try parting my hair on the other side, and so far, so great! The wash & shampoo was A+. I felt like I was getting a massage. I look forward to visiting again!

If I could rate HIGHER then I WOULD !!! Photo is worth a thousand words and I feel like a MILLION BUCKS after my visit to westside hair studio. On top of the great results they also saw me last minute after calling all around town since I had an important event to attend and wanted to look my best. The stylists here are TOP NOTCH and for the price I felt was a total steal. I will be lifelong client from now on . Thank you Westside Hair studio and Eddy and Kate 🙏 ❤️🥳

Super nice people however asked for layers and trimming of my angles in the front and they kind of got botched. Giving three stars because she was so so nice but walked out a bit panicky at how my hair was cut. Straight across even though asked for a layered back, and uneven choppy REALLY short front pieces. I think she knew it wasn't so great too by her body language and constant reassurance but again, really nice people

I have gotten good service from here before, as I’ve been getting my haircuts there since the beginning of the year. Today my hairdresser was running late for my appointment and the woman who was there seemed upset that I had even walked in. I asked when my hairdresser would arrive and she said she “didn’t know.” I decided not to wait. I asked her to please cancel the appointment and she replied “that’s fine” without looking up from her busywork. The owner, Kate, who usually cuts my hair, is “on vacation”—apparently, when that’s the case, the quality of service plummets. Very disappointing experience. Huge waste of my time. Ended up going to Floyd’s nearby on Melrose, and they did a great job!

Paid $40 for a mens haircut, Eddie was experienced & professional. Would be coming back here for sure when I come visit family in LA!
