I've been visiting WET Salon for over 3 years now! I feel like I have finally found a hair stylist I can trust, who delivers results that I envision for my hair. Michelle is my "hair wizard" for my blonde locks. When I was first scouting out a new stylist, a receptionist at WET told me that if I have blonde hair, I will want to see Michelle and she was spot on with that! Michelle always listens to what I want and is patient with me. She takes her time to highlight my hair in such unique and pretty ways and keeps it looking healthy and fresh. If you have blonde hair or are looking for someone who knows how to blonde hair, Michelle is the person for you! I always love my cuts too from Michelle and am always getting compliments on how good my hair looks after a fresh cut and color! WET Salon has been on SoCo for several years and it's nice to contribute to a small business (full of hip Austin stylists) that have persevered through the rapid growth and changes in Austin. KEEP AUSTIN WET! 💛

We did a drop in after reading all the great reviews, and we were not disappointed at all. The lady at the front desk was super nice and helped get us an appointment. We had Michelle as our stylist and she was amazing. She started with my daughter first and the outcome was perfection. To quote my daughter " I'm obsessed with this hair cut". I've never seen her happier and as a mom I'm super happy with the cut and style. I went next and took a giant leap that I had been wanting to make from long hair to short hair. Michelle talked to me about it first to make sure it was a decision I really wanted which I greatly appreciate. The cut and style turned out even better than I expected. All in all we are super happy and can't wait to be regulars for touch ups and bang trims.

Hair cut from Alexa and it was lovely. She cut just how I asked, was personable, finished in under an hour and the price point was awesome. Would definitely recommend her and the salon!

Walked in to WET today and asked for a toner and blowout. Michelle was super friendly and accommodating and made time to attend to me straight away. I felt lucky! A gorgeous toner, relaxing wash and head massage with great quality products (Kevin Murphy, my favourite!) and friendly and fun service from Michelle. She was very professional while also being warm and hospitable. The salon was cute and a really nice vibe. Thank you!

I tried this salon just because I liked the vibe. And I'm very happy I did! I needed a haircut. Sara was my stylist. I showed her some photos of the cut I wanted. She asked excellent clarifying questions. She worked slowly and carefully. She paid attention to individual locks, getting them to fall just the right way. I had made one mistake -- I hadn't asked what the haircut was going to cost. I'm used to a haircut (including the post-cut styling) taking 30 minutes. As Sara went past the 30-minute mark and then past the 60-minute mark, I started to wonder: What is this going to cost me? $200? $300? More? After 90 minutes, she was finally done. The result was fantastic! Exactly like the photos I had shown her, and very, very flattering. I asked how much I owed her, and she said just $60! I even asked, "Are you sure?," but I certainly wasn't going to argue with her. I made sure to make another appointment with her before I left. I'm a little reluctant to tell the world what a great experience I had, because I'm afraid Sara will get all booked up and/or raise her prices! But fair is fair, she did a terrific job and I recommend her highly

What a dump. I had a very negative experience with a stylist named Michelle. I went in for a highlight consultation with her. She was rude, unfriendly, abrasive, negative disrespectful comments, insulting about the Grey in my hair, told me in a forceful manner she would put toner on my hair. I told her I never get toner put on my hair. She told me she would charge me $389 for a partial highlight. I have lived in Austin 35 years that price for this dump is so overpriced. I have never paid over $200 for a partial highlight in any top salon in Austin. Why would would I pay $389 for a dump. I also spoke to the owner I think her name was Jennifer. I spoke to Jennifer about this horribly negative experience with her hairdresser and she actually defended her. She also insulted me. These people are crazy don't waste your time or money there. Find a salon that is professional and respectful. These people are so toxic.

I’m a new client to the salon and couldn’t be happier with the big chop I got from Sara. I never would have known she’s a new stylist based on how beautiful my cut came out! I cut off about 8in and got layers that were cut perfectly for my features. I needed to decompress after a hard week at work - Sara didn’t pressure me to small talk and just let me relax through the entire appointment, and also gave the best head massage during washing. Looking forward to her being my new go-to stylist

Randomly was in town from Chicago and desperately needed a haircut. I had also had the wise idea of bleaching my own hair a few days before and knew I needed a toner. I was staying near Wet Salon so was able to get in for an appointment easily. I get very nervous about going to new stylists because you never know. Sara was my stylist and did an AMAZING job. I left looking so amazing. I would absolutely recommend her and if I'm ever back in ATX I'd definitely see her again. Thanks Sara!

After receiving an uneven haircut and having my hair dyed yellow- orange while trying to go from Brown to a dirty blonde. I spoke with the manager of Wet Salon Jess about taking my business elsewhere but that I appreciated her offering to see and re-correct my hair. Instead of apologizing and trying to rectify the situation, the manager acted unprofessionally by calling the new salon I was planning to visit and warning them not to see me. The new salon was shocked since I have seen them before and let me aware of how that behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the salon as a whole. I agreed. As a customer, we have the right to express our dissatisfaction kindly / always tip 20% and seek services elsewhere if we are unhappy with the service provided. It's disappointing that the manager Jess at this salon couldn't handle negative feedback and instead chose to behave inappropriately. It's important for businesses to listen to their customers and take constructive criticism as an opportunity to improve their service. Unfortunately, in this case, the salon failed to do so. It's a shame that my negative experience was not handled properly and that the manager's behavior only made matters worse. Overall, I would not recommend this salon to others due to the inappropriate behavior of the manager. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism, and this salon clearly failed to deliver on both fronts. That being said, the new salon still fixed my hair and will continue to see me. I would highly suggest Red Stella Salon to anyone needing hair corrections and some TLC.

Such soft caring energy, and I had kind of complicated hair: lots of long extensions and short “real hair” - and she literally did a perfect job. I felt lifted, calm, and energized when I left/ def treat yourself to this!!! You won’t regret

Absolutely AMAZING experience! Such a beautiful salon with a great vibe. Ask for Alex Roman to get some expert level Reiki while you get a bomb cut. The most relaxed I’ve felt in a long time. The energy in the salon is very chill & you instantly feel calm and safe. The Reiki is top notch and so is the styling. You will thank me later!

Alex - Reiki Master/ Stylist I can't believe i'm writing this, as a natural skeptic I went into this for a new experience not hoping or expecting anything but the difference I felt for weeks after has been significant. I was told I had some soul ties and throat chakra blockages. People holding on to me causing some negative energy and the throat blockage which could mean I don't speak up or communicate my issues which is SPOT ON. During the Reiki, my eyes were shut but I felt some tingles and asked where her hands were hovering, it was the exact same spot and I felt it travel as her hands moved and hovered over. That week I had an emotional release which is strange for me. I have felt lighter ever since. I have communicated all my feelings freely and I just feel so much more at peace. I will absolutely continue booking more of Alex's Reiki services. Thank you so much!

I had an epic mom fail thinking I can color my 16 year old daughters hair! Needless to say, it turned out terrible. I called Alex with my mini crisis and she immediately took my daughter in with open arms. She not only fixed her hair, she made it the most beautiful highlight/lowlight I have ever seen on anyone! I wish I had before and after pictures to post. Hands down the best Salon in Austin, TX. Not only because of her beautiful work, but also because she treated my daughter so well. Sara did a phenomenal job on getting me back to a blonde I absolutely love and a cut that I adore. This place is really cute and I love that even with all the coloring that was done it didn’t have that overwhelming chemical smell that almost all salons seem to have.
