Anna AMAZING!! I always tell her to do whatever she thinks is best, I trust her! And my blonde always comes out soooo good. Even went through my rogue red phase with me. She’s so accommodating for anything you need during your appointment, has got me in last minute, and is truly just a selfless person who hypes up others. Love this whole salon & the vibes.

I got my hair done by Anna and I absolutely loved it! I went in a week before my wedding to lighten my hair and she did an amazing job walking me through exactly what she was going to do, allowing me space to use the time how I wanted in the appointment (talking vs not vs work calls etc), and helping me know what to do with 6 month postpartum hair loss to make it look better lol she was SO lovely and I can’t wait to go back in a few months

Addison is amazing! She gets the color right every time and cuts are fantastic. She went above and beyond for my wedding hair color and cut and even worked a miracle and made my cheap Amazon clip-in extensions match and blend so well! 😝 highly recommend her!

ANNA is a gem!! I was recommended by my sister to visit wheelhouse salon, I was not disappointed. Anna is so delightful, thorough, and really listened to what I wanted in a haircut. My style and haircut is next level. I’m looking forward to getting my color done by her in the future! 10/10

Amazing experience! Salon is so cute, clean, and welcoming. Kelly did a fantastic job - my hair was extremely messed up from a precious visit to another salon and she took her time to color correct and make sure I was 100% happy with the results, which I was!! Thanks again Kelly - I’ll be coming back!

I am so happy with my visit. My hair is dark, fine, and so hard to deal with, but Kelly did magic! The highlights were done so beautifully and blended, with no damage to my hair, I am so happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend coming to Kelly !!

I’ve been a client with Wheelhouse Austin for 3.5 years and have always had such great experiences. I have fine, straight, blonde hair and they take the nuances of my hair needs seriously. I feel heard and collaborated with to come up with a plan that always looks amazing. It’s a fun atmosphere with desired results. Everyone is experienced and talented, but I highly recommend booking with Anna or Lane.

Anna just did my hair for the first time today and it’s Fantastic! She did a full highlight and blended the roots perfectly. I also got a haircut and she didn’t get scissor happy but just cut off the dead 10/10. I feel so beautiful!

As a girly who knows all too well how hard it is to find a hair stylist and colorist who you can truly trust, I can honestly say I would lay in traffic for Bea at Wheelhouse Salon because of the magic she has worked on my hair over the years. I’ve been coming to Bea for about 2 years now, and she has turned me from a brassy haired wannabe blonde with naturally dull brown hair to a gorgeous natural blonde via the partial and full foil route. Bea has always shot me straight on what tones and colors would look best with my skin (pasty white in the winter and olive tan in the summer), and never fails to make the time fly in the chair with fun conversations. I’ve recommended her to my mom, sisters, boyfriend and close friends because she is THAT GOOD. If you are looking to find a colorist and stylist that you can trust, is affordable, and exudes cool girl vibes, give Bea a call! You won’t regret it!

I don't even know where to begin! Morgan was absolutely fantastic. I went in with the inspo picture I wanted, and walked out with exactly that! She is so sweet, and willing to accommodate in whatever way you need. If you're looking for a reliable hair stylist, this salon is definitely the way to go. If you have darker hair and want a change, definitely go by Morgan! I'm so impressed and will be going here from now on :)

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to move away from Austin after getting my hair done with Morgan. I’ve been seeing her regularly for about 6 months now for balayage and haircuts and she kills it every time! I’m a brunette and one of the many things I love about Morgan is that she helps me embrace my hair color and gives it TONS of dimension without slapping a bunch of blonde highlights in and calling it a day. She also has the best energy and is very genuine. I’ve yet to have a bad hair day since coming to Wheelhouse!

I had a haircut with Chris and he was able to clean up some damage that a past stylist had done on accident to my hair while styling. Chris was very detailed and was able to give me the butterfly haircut and bangs I asked for. I have very long thick hair and he took the time to make sure styling was perfect!

I have been coming to Wheelhouse for years because of Lane! The service and atmosphere is phenomenal. Lane always takes the time to listen and always guides me in the right direction. Everyone here is great though and can’t recommend this place enough.

I went in for a haircut and got a $300+ mullet that took 4 hours to do and color that lasted 2 weeks. I asked for 3 inches to be taken off and left without 5. I didn’t ask for curtain bangs but ended up with ones that make my hair look like a mullet. I think a large part of this is due to cutting and styling my hair based on someone that has straight hair. But with my curly hair it looks ridiculous. I’ve been wearing my hair in a clip ever since just waiting for the “curtain bangs” that take up half my hair to grow out. All of the color is already gone 2 weeks later. I’m sure this review will somehow be removed, but in the meantime, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Kelly is THE BEST. I have been coloring my hair for years and she is the only stylist that has been able to take me from dark brown (my natural hair color) to an ashy blonde (my request). She is professional, friendly and immensely talented. If she ever leaves Austin I will cry as I will not let anyone else touch my hair. I love this salon. Awesome location, easy parking, amazing staff and overall wonderful experience.

My stylist, Addison, is absolutely amazing. She always knows how to combine all my inspiration pics together for exactly what I want and does beautifully with my very fine straight hair type. Addison has been my stylist for over a year now and I followed her from the previous salon she was at. Wheelhouse salon itself is a cool chill place with an Austin vibe. Even the hair care products look artful. Complimentary cold drinks and beautiful skylights that allow sunlight to trickle in makes for such a relaxing spot. I haven’t got a chance to get to know the rest of the staff, but everyone I’ve interacted with so far has been truly wonderful. The included perks are nice as well: 20% off first time customer 20% off service for referral 10 day if you don’t like your hair they’ll fix it Complimentary bang trim between cuts.

my first appointment with Alisha was a couple of weeks ago. I let her know that I had difficulties with routine changes, so waking up to a completely different hair style made me nervous. She was very understanding and comforting. She cut the length off my hair that she said needed to go while still keeping it long. (She said if you love long hair, why not keep long hair. Genuinely, a true genius! lol) She then offered for me to come back if I decided I was comfortable enough to change it up. This gave me a chance to get used to the length and ultimately I decided I was ready for the change. She got me in within the week for my second appointment and she made me comfortable enough for her to just do her thing, while keeping my concerns in mind. A stylist has never offered this as a solution to me and I’m so grateful she made it happen! I love what she did with my hair and now I’m excited to come back for my next appointment!

I started going to Wheelhouse after a promo they ran with my apartment building for free blowouts and got connected with Bea--I've been going there for the past two years and have always gotten great service! Bea is the best and will talk through all of your hair wants and needs and is realistic with the process of achieving your hair goals, all while working within a process to keep your hair safe and healthy. Whether I came in for color service every 4-6 weeks or opted for a color job that would only have me coming in every 6+ months, Bea has worked with me on all of it and we have become great friends. After a few visits I recommended her to friends of mine and they've all loved her work as much as I have. I have since moved away from the South Lamar area but will continue to make the drive to Wheelhouse to get my hair done by Bea!

This salon is so well decorated I was almost more impressed with the interior than my haircut. But my stylist gave me a great cut, a tad pricey, $100 with tip for a basic trim with some shaping. Will probably try to book a less expensive stylist next time!

Today was my first visit to Wheelhouse Salon and I am in love! I cannot gush enough about Morgan! She was amazing, sweet, knowledgeable, professional and did WONDERFUL things with/to my hair. I fully trusted every decision she made and felt completely at ease during my visit. I'm very much looking forward to my next visit.
