Amazing service! I came in today for a hydro facial and it was absolutely fabulous! Liz was my esthetician and she was extremely mindful and patient with my extremely sensitive skin! My skin was left feeling amazing by the end of it, no redness or inflammation (which is incredible because typically even the most basic moisturizers leave my skin red)! 10/10, highly recommend!

I had a great experience with my cousin. They are so warm & welcoming. You feel relaxed the moment you walk in. They have a great place tucked away within Hillcrest area! Give them a try, they just opened a new location at Hillcrest & they are so genuinely nice!! Self care is health care

I choose Whispering day spa based on reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Great local place, small day spa…so much more personal service than the large hotel spas….the services I received were top notch. I highly recommend. Mari and Heba were both great.

Heba was very professional and explained the facial treatment I was receiving very thoroughly. I went in for a Nano Micocurrent Facial, and was very pleased with the outcome. If you’re looking for a clean, professional spa, then this is definitely a place to go to. Highly recommend!

Best massage and facial! Ron was amazing, worked the problem areas near my neck very well, I feel much looser and relaxed. Heba was amazing as well! She customized my facial to the exact needs of my skin, and explained each step ( I asked her to lol) so I would know exactly what we were doing to help my skin! Thank you guys!!

I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment you book to the moment you leave they are so professional and helpful. I called last minute and left a voicemail. They shortly texted me and helped me finalize a booking for 3. When we arrived they were so friendly, offered mimosas, and then gave each one of us the most amazing massage. Their therapists clearly have gone to school and know their stuff! Take your mom, girlfriend or loved one here. They will very much appreciate it !

I had a Swedish massage with Scott, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked into the spa, I felt completely at ease—the ambiance is serene, and the owner is so welcoming and kind. Scott made me feel incredibly comfortable and safe throughout the session, creating a space where I could fully relax. He has an amazing ability to sense exactly what your body needs, almost as if he can feel every breath you take. His knowledge and skill really shine through, and his calming aura made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!

Exceptional experience in Whispering spa for my sister's bridal spa-rty!! We got a private room for 7 ladies with mimosas and herbal tea, and lovely decoration for pictures. I got truly the best massage of my life (not exaggerating - I tend to get them regularly). Shout out to my masseuse that day, Serious. Very meticulous, head to toe, great products and details like warm towels. We also had time to relax in warm crystal beds after our treatment. Sentiment from the other 6 ladies was exactly the same, we were all on cloud 9! Thank you to Cindhy and her team we had the best time ever!

Fantastic massage with Ronald. Here on vacation and this was definitely worth flying across the country for. Ronald really got into the spaces where I needed attention and I was comfortable and well cared for the whole experience. The sauna and the cupping were great experiences!

If I could give 10 ⭐️, I would! I treated myself to the Spa Royalty package while I was in town. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with such care and kindness. A serene space to wait for services welcomed me with delicious hot tea prepared. Out of the hundreds of massages I have experienced over the years, Ronald’s Swedish was hands down the best I have ever had! The back and foot treatments were great and by the end of my incredible facial I had been relaxed all the way to sleep! Do yourself a favor and book some services, I know I will the next time I’m back in town.

I have been going to Liz for over 3 years now and she has been incredible. I started off doing her acne bootcamp and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I had struggled with acne for about 10 years and went as far as being on accutane to try and help control it. Nothing helped until I went to Liz, Liz was able to not only clear my skin but I have now been acne free for 3 years. Once the acne bootcamp was done I started doing the monthly membership and have continued to go to Liz every month since. Liz always knows exactly what my skin needs to help keep it healthy and glowing. I have tried every facial they offer and love them all for different reasons. Liz is truly an expert in what she does and I can always feel her passion in every treatment she does. She gives the best face and head massages and have such a calming presence to her. I could not recommend Liz enough, she really has changed my life and brought me more confidence in my skin that I ever thought I could have. Facial days with Liz are always my favorite day of the month.

I recently visited Whispering Day Spa and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The ambiance was relaxing, and the staff were courteous and professional. The massage I received was skilled and provided much-needed relief from muscle tension. The 30 minute facial treatment was soothing and left my skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. However, there are a few areas where the spa could improve. The treatment rooms were bright, warm and loud due to the open windows and outside traffic, which distracted from the overall relaxation. Keeping the windows closed, the rooms darker and cooler could enhance comfort. Overall, Whispering Day Spa offers a solid service, but addressing these issues could elevate the experience to an exceptional level

This review is long overdue, but I'm happy I've had a chance to experience the consistency of quality with respect to the massages and the spa as a whole. Quick disclaimer, I'm a massage frequent flyer. I usually get one once a month at various locations and different massage therapists, prior to relocating to San Diego earlier this year. I originally visited this spa with my partner as part of a birthday gift. We got a couples massage then she spent the day there for an extensive spa package. We both enjoyed our massages, but she RAVED about how hers was the best massage she'd ever received so naturally I was curious. Now, my massage was also exceptional and I feel confident that all of their therapists are well-trained and attentive like ours were. Sometimes it's just a matter of preference when it comes to massage style. The next time I went for a solo massage I asked for her therapist, Scott V. And yes, 100%, the best massage I've ever experienced and here's why: Safety: As a woman I'm naturally sensitive to any weird vibes or inappropriateness during massages, especially when the therapist is a man. You're in a vulnerable position and it's important to feel comfortable in that setting. Scott is very careful and thoughtful about where and how he massages and I can honestly say I've never felt an inkling of creepiness from him. The Massage: Masterful. He applies the perfect amount of pressure while checking in periodically (but not an annoying amount) to make sure I'm comfortable. He double checks the areas I'd like him to focus on and truly takes his time working out all the kinks. I've recently started my fitness journey and often feel sore from working out and he fixes me up every time. I like that he incorporates light stretching, after confirming I'm cool with it, for some of my more problematic areas. I'm not a flexible girlie, so I do mean light stretching, but it's helped relieve so much tension in my lower back and hips. After I told him how much the stretching helped, he proactively went and learned new ones to incorporate. How thoughtful. Personality: Scott has a warm, positive and kind disposition. He always greets me with smile and seems to genuinely enjoy his job. That's not always the case so it's refreshing to consistently experience. As for the spa, all the staff I've interacted with over the past few months have been pleasant and helpful. The space is clean and relaxing. I also feel like their services are reasonably priced. The only thing to be conscious of is parking - it's not terrible, but likely will take you 5-10 min to find a spot and walk to the spa. Obviously I'm a big fan.

A gem of a spa in SD! We threw a Spa-rty for my friend's bachelorette for 8 girls, and it was the most smooth and seamless process - I was beyond impressed. Cindhy is an absolute delight and made every step of planning this part of our celebration so easy and stress-free! She was extremely communicative and took care of everything while also making it feel special. Services were also all wonderful and relaxing, it was the perfect way to top off our trip. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you again Whispering Day Spa!

Got to have a little birthday spa day and Whispering Day Spa did not disappoint! Even though I arrived a little late, they still worked hard to make sure I got the full experience. Ronald gave me one of the best massages I have ever had, it was amazing! Heba (sorry if I spelled it wrong) did a great job on my facial and her scalp massage was top-notch! I will DEFINITELY be coming back.

I believe my massage therapist name was Ronald Jhonson. He was amazing! He not only massaged but also stretched my body out. He used the right amount of pressure during the entire massage and always checked in on me to make sure I was okay. Such a great experience! Would come back again :)

We went for a couples synergistic massage and couples facial and they beyond exceeded our expectations. Scott and Ronald were our amazing massage therapists and did a great job with the deep tissue and undoing all my knots. The facial was also a 10/10. My skin’s literally glowing as I’m driving away. We’ll definitely be returning next time we visit San Diego

Booked the “Spoil Me” package which is a splurge but it included all the services I was in need of for a well deserved pampering session. Serious did my Swedish massage and was by far the best therapist I’ve ever had!!!! Her techniques were amazing and so relaxing. I’d come back just for her, but wait, then Heba did my facial and she was just as awesome! She took her time to study my skin needs and used products that I needed. She didn’t try to upsell me on getting any other add-ons or products which never happens during a facial!! I left, renewed and well pampered! Even my husband noticed my face was glowing!! I will definitely be back
