Horrible customer service. I called and made an appointment for my birthday because I heard they are great. When I made the appointment they made me give them my card information which I thought was strange but they said they do it for everyone. The day before my appointment I tried to call in the morning to cancel because my car broke down so unfortunately I had to spend my birthday money to fix my car but when I called there was no answer. I figured they weren’t open yet. So I was at work and I got so busy and I remembered that I still had to call to cancel my appointment for the next day at 4pm. I called to cancel at 445 in the afternoon the day before my 4 pm appointment. I told them how sorry I was that I couldn’t make the 4pm appointment the next day because of my car but I would reschedule soon. They said no problem. A few minutes later my phone dinged with my bank account saying that the salon charged me $250 well of course I had no idea what was going on so I called and they said that because I didn’t cancel 24 hours in advance or more that they charged me 1/2 the cost of my service for cancellation. I flipped out like are you kidding me? I called 45 minutes later than the cutoff and I told them my situation about my car needing to get fixed but they said that’s the policy it’s right online when you book. I said I called to schedule I never went online so I had no idea about your policy. They said they texted me warning me about canceling under 24 hours but they confirmed they had wrong number for me so I never got the text. I called and talked to Joan and she said she would give me my money back but of course I never got it back and the 20 times I called to ask when I would get it back she was never there to get on phone with me. Absolutely horrible to do that to people. If I knew that’s the policy I would have definitely not gone there because emergencies happen to people all the time so for them to take $250 from someone without doing anything for it is despicable. I can understand a cancel fee of $50-$75 for the hair dressers time but $250 they should be ashamed of themselves. Be warned that they are sneaky.

I loved my experience at Wild Honey salon. Sam did a great job with my hair. She was very attentive, and made sure my hair turned out how I wanted. I loved the end result, and I’ve gotten so many compliments on my new hair.

I cannot recommend Kyle @ Wild Honey enough! She always makes my hair dreams come true! She is such a friendly & sweet person to chat with while she works her magic on you. My hair has never looked better, thanks to Kyle.

I came back for a root touch up on 12/23, but for some reason I was booked with someone who was not expected to work that day. I was extremely concerned that I would have to endure Christmas and wedding with my roots looking crazy. However, after telling the front desk about my situation and how important it is that I get my roots done now (as they will be closed until the 27th). After one of the stylist called the owner and spoke to her about the mix up of my appointment, then ended up finding a stylist who could help me and comped my appointment which I wasn’t expecting. I am really appreciative how they were able to accommodate me and rectify the situation. Will def continue to come here

I was recommend here by a friend and had excellent service. The salon has a really chill and relaxing environment, my stylish Jay was very thorough and did a really good job on my hair color match. I will definitely come back, the prices were reasonable too!

In summary: 10/10 experience! I got exactly the cut I wanted by a talented hairdresser. And the owner, Joan, was so kind to me. I don't ever write reviews, and to be frank I would rather keep this salon my little secret... However, I need to give credit where it's due. I had a haircut with Cally and she is top-notch. She listened to me carefully and truly understood exactly what I wanted. I'm very particular and it can be challenging to find someone you can trust with your hair. There are people who cut hair, and then there are professionals who have that extra spark (talent). She is the latter! Side note; I had trouble with traffic and parking so I was a little late. Cally used every moment I had scheduled in her chair to blow out my hair and even taking the time to teach me how to get the day-to-day look I was going for. 🥹 I also have to mention Joan. I'll spare the details here but I sincerely appreciate her kindness. The salon has a chic ambiance and it's evident that a talented team was assembled. Every head of hair in the chairs and that went out the door looked fabulous! Thank you for everything, Wild Honey Salon!

Nikki blended out a previous highlight job into a beautiful balayage! She was so thoughtful and skilled, making considerations for my lifestyle and upcoming event. I have straight black Asian hair so it’s easy to see uneven bleaching/streaks, but there is none! So happy with it!

This salon was wonderful! I needed to get my hair done for a wedding and Jay did a beautiful job. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, and they were running right on time ◡̈ the atmosphere is so cute and they offer complimentary drinks as well. I would definitely come back here again!

I definitely recommend Wild Honey! This was my first time visiting and I will definitely be back. Booking online was easy and they even had same day appointments available. You can choose a stylist but I went with first available since I obviously didn’t know anyone yet. I arrived right on time and they checked me in and sat me almost right away. I thought the price was very fair for the service (lower than most other shops I looked at online). They have you enter card info online when booking (to hold your spot in case you no show) but you can pay and tip however you’d like after your appointment. The only downside is the parking but that’s just part of being in the city. My stylist’s name was Jay and she was amazing! Very professional and reassuring. I let her know that I was nervous as other salons have destroyed my bangs and I could tell she listened to what I wanted and was confident she could help. And she delivered! I love how healthy my hair looks and my bangs are perfect. Also, I’m usually not big on talking as I’m a bit shy and socially awkward. I usually dread going to salons because I feel like they constantly pressure you to talk the whole time. Jay asked a few questions and we chatted a bit but I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all and she didn’t push to keep talking when I was quiet. Overall great experience! If you are looking for a new salon, definitely check this place out and ask for Jay!

Need to jump on and give KY ESBENSEN a freakin shout-out because they deserve so much recognition and respect After being spoiled in NYC and LA by having access to celebrity stylists for a decade going from that to Philly is like going from Jean George to the Edison diner. (It’s a stupid problem, but it’s a problem). It has been THREE YEARS since I walked out of a salon with a f*ck yeah cut, and she absolutely nailed it. I would stack her work against top level cutter in W Hollywood and SoHo. What was different? Her technique was precise, she listened to what i wanted, and made more creative suggestions, resulting in this old-money wolf cut that I absolutely love and never would have chosen. If you are a corporate girly that’s alt on the weekend Ky is the one. Trust me and get in while you still can 🔥✨🫶

Ian is amazing! After a few traumatic hair appointments, Ian really took the time to figure out what I liked (and didn’t like) and brought my hair back to life! I’m always getting compliments and can’t rave about him enough!

Taylor is amazing! Every cut and color is exactly like I want. She really listens to her clients, and is great to talk to while she’s doing your hair. The scalp massages are to die for. I will never go anywhere else!!

This was my first time getting a haircut at Wild honey. The atmosphere was pretty nice. I had to wait over 20mins past my appointment time before meeting my stylist though. But I was offered snacks an drinks which was really nice. Unfortunately, I did not end up liking my haircut. I called back the next day, and they asked me to come back so we could go over the steps that could be taken to improve my cut. I chose not to go back as I didn't want to go shorter. Overall, even though I didn't like my haircut, I liked the salon and might go back to a different stylist.

These folks are so kind- I can’t speak for the haircare (yet) but I had a delivery where the timing got messed up and they let delivery person keep them in the salon someone could grab.

Went in for a curly cut & Michaela was AMAZING!! She explained the process thoroughly & helped me get a better understanding of my hair. She genuinely seemed interested in giving me the best haircut she could & I really feel she achieved her goal.

I always leave this salon so thrilled with how my appointment has gone! I get my hair done by Ky and they have always been amazing at hearing what I'm asking for and making it a reality. They've created the prettiest gloss color and cut it beautifully. So far I've had 2 hair cuts and one color maintenance appointment with them and I always leave more than satisfied. I have previously had some mediocre hair cut experiences that made me nervous to start over with a new salon. But I loved the online form I could fill out with my current hair and hair goals that matched me with a few stylists they thought would be a good fit, and so far it's worked out perfectly!

I’ve been going to Kate M at Wild Honey for over a year now for blonde highlights/balayage and am thrilled to have found a stylist and salon that I love! She gives me a low-maintenance, lived-in blonde look that grows in looking beautiful. Kate consults with me at the beginning of each appointment to discuss what I’d like done and how we can get that accomplished, and gives her professional opinion and suggestions to get me looking and feeling my best. They offer drinks and snacks and check in with me throughout the appointment to make sure that I’m comfortable. I really look forward to my visits to the salon because I always have a lovely experience!

If you want a haircut here, they’re good. I don’t recommend getting anything other than a balayage or highlight situation here. The work done on me was not good for having to spend nearly $300 with a junior stylist. I had to go to a different salon to fix the issue and paid half the price for a beautiful cut and dye. I was very upset after speaking up and then being ghosted..

I love this place!! It was my first time getting my hair colored/ highlighted and Alyssa did an amazing job. She made me feel comfortable and was considerate of the style/ color I wanted. Would highly recommend Alyssa or any other hair stylist here!

Kyla is UNREAL GOOD. I left with the absolute cutest cut, my bangs are perfection, and it was overall an amazing experience. The salon is super clean, beautiful, and situated in the cutest part of town with ample parking. Highly recommend !!!!!

i have been going to the same hairdresser since i was a baby, but since moving to philly i decided to try somewhere new. the salon was clean and everyone was friendly, and Ky absolutely KILLED my hair. i was really nervous about someone other than my old stylist touching my hair, but they made me feel comfortable and understood my idea. they also gave me the best bangs i think i've ever had in my life lol. highly reccomend this place and HIGHLY reccomend booking with Ky!

Literally my favorite hair salon yet! Vicki was the best from consultation through execution of my balayage and styling. They’re so professional at Wild Honey and provide a really comfortable environment. I spent about 3 hours top here to get my hair fixed from a different salon and I was so so impressed the entire time. The price was very fair for the amazing quality — I’ll definitely be back and recommend to others!

My main girl is Ashley Reilly and she is amazing. Took me from dark hair to almost blonde. It totally trust her with my hair. I also get great blow outs with her and hair styles. I have gone to other girls for blowouts and have also had great experiences. Very happy with salon and it’s comparable to one in nyc where I am from.

This place completely ruined my hair - do NOT go here! I’ve asked for a cool ash brown balayage the past 2 appointments and I have dark hair so it requires actually toning it. Instead they made my hair yellow and brassy and completely messed it up. Never going here again.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this Salon, and specifically the incredible Cally. Everyone here is so knowledgeable about hair, in a way I had never encountered before. I will never go anywhere else again! I never thought my hair could look so good until coming here. Everyone just understands the intricacies of how different hair types work and what works best with different hair types. They work with you to help you understand your own hair and then they assess what level of maintenance you want to put into your hair so that way they can give you the best haircut for you that works with your lifestyle. I can't stress enough how much I recommend this salon. Everyone is wonderful, the people are nicer than you'd imagine possible, the space is beautiful, and your experience will be top notch. If you're looking for a new salon, this should be your first stop!

I recently went to Wild Honey for the first time and it was a great experience, super friendly and welcoming. Cally did my haircut and I highly recommend her for haircut services! Cally listened to all my concerns and made great suggestions to achieve the cut I was looking for, I am very happy with the cut. Will definitely be going back!
