I'm SO happy I found Saige at Wild Oak Studio. She is warm, welcoming, and great at communicating. I had an idea about what I wanted, and she made my hair look even better than I imagined. She's great at offering ideas, and I appreciated her encouraging me to provide feedback if I wanted any changes. It was such a relaxing and positive experience (I almost fell asleep while she washed my hair, lol)! I can’t recommend Wild Oak / Saige enough. Also, the studio itself is beautiful.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ☺️ After many years of going to different salons- I can’t rave enough about coming to this one!! I’ve been coming in for about 2ish years now and I’ve always walked out very very happy. Let alone always looking forward to my haircuts! Shoutout to Jordan for always ensuring that preferences are met and the experience is well worth it. She’s truly talented with a special touch of making everyone comfortable around her. I am so happy to have found this salon in Seattle after a long search! The space itself is absolutely beautiful, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I had a haircut with Saige, and she was incredible. Her knowledge and expertise really stood out—she took the time to thoroughly assess my hair, ask thoughtful questions about what I wanted, and explain every step of the process. I appreciated how she explained the products she was using and offered great, reasonable recommendations tailored to my needs. The result? A fantastic haircut that I absolutely love! Loved seeing Jordan at Wild Oak! Super comfortable and clean experience. The hot towel during my hair wash was a nice cherry on top. I appreciated the time taken to ask questions about previous cuts and what was like and not liked. The attention to detail is what will keep me coming back. Salon itself was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!

My experience with Karissa was not a pleasant one, she refused to color my hair after I arrived 8 minutes late, for which I received a telling off. It was so humiliating. I had actually apologized twice to her, immediately on arrival because I didn’t realized the adjacent road where I normally park was actually closed off that day and had to drive around the block to park. My appointment on 10/10 was booked for 2.30hrs, so I thought we had plenty of time. So after telling me off, she asked me how my last coloring was and I explained that I would like to go a bit darker in tone because the previous tone showed some areas of discoloration and showed my greys after 2weeks. We had discussed the color being a bit richer and darker in our previous appointment. This was to be my third appointment visiting her for my 6 week root and tone touch up. She then continued to say that she didn’t feel comfortable coloring my hair because I keep complaining after every appointment! I was totally confused because this was only my 3rd appointment with her and I was only giving her my feedback on the last color and was not complaining after she had asked. I loved my first appointment and would not have gone back to her to have more treatments if I was unhappy with it. But I could see from her attitude that she was not going to treat me. I was quite shocked and I was very upset so I asked her to make an appointment for me with another stylist to do the coloring and she refused to book the appointment for me, saying she needs to talk to the owner first. Wow!! Is this how you treat your clients? I had taken off 3 hrs of my time to see her, I think she is totally unprofessional because if she didn’t want to treat me then after our last appointment she should have said so and canceled my appointments before my arrival or referred me to her other colleagues that can color and tone.

Saige gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life. She was so professional and kind. She paid so much attention to detail and used my inspiration pictures to give me exactly the haircut I wanted!! It’s a tad pricey but worth every penny. I will be back !!

I came in for a haircut and style, and really enjoyed my experience here. Jordan was very friendly, asked questions to make sure she understood what I was hoping for, and the haircut came out even better than I'd imagined! Plus my hair was noticeably glossier/smoother for days after.

TL;DR hair taken seriously for seriously good results. I’ve been using professional red dye at home for 18 years and have run the gamut of colors and conditions for my hair. I liked my base home-dye color and wanted to keep the autonomy of touching up my roots but came to Saige to add definition, dynamic lighter parts, layering, and improve the shine of my dull hair. I met Saige and was instantly struck by her color knowledge, her long term thinking about my hair goals and how collaborative she was in strategizing. The experience itself was the best I’ve had in a salon, it felt like a spa day, but with nostalgic 90s music. Saige respected that I had some work to do whilst I was there but kept me informed on the clever chemistry magic she was performing on my hair at every stage. Saige has an incredibly light touch, none of the products used were over powering smell or reaction wise, and the head massage almost had me floating out of the chair. And she dyed my eyebrows! The cost was more than I’ve ever spent on my hair, but it was truly worth it for the level of detail Saige puts in not only to the hair care, but the experience in the salon. Thank you!

I came in after finally growing my hair out for three years after some serious hair trauma and felt so seen and cared for by the extremely generous Jordan. She listened to all of my concerns and talked me through every step of the process (what shears did what, how to maintain the texture and length I wanted, what the result of the cut would look like before she cut). I was seriously impressed by her professionalism and kindness in handling my fears. I walked out with my hair in much better shape and me feeling like I found someone I could trust! I will definitely be back for all of my future hair goals. Thank you Jordan!

Karissa listens to her clients wants when it comes to their envision of their hair while also giving her expert advice. Every time I come in I trust Karissa with my hair 100% and she never disappoints!!

They are such a professional, detail oriented business, and Jordan especially is great. She’s so kind and committed to making sure you have the experience and outcome that you want. She’s worked with me and been so flexible and fun in allowing me to try both big changes and also boring general upkeep. Can’t recommend Wild Oak enough ◡̈

Being new to the area it is always nerve-wracking to find a new hair salon. Went here for the first time today and there are not enough stars to put here for how excellent my experience was. Karissa was so kind and helpful in helping evaluate and develop a plan to help correct some past issues with my hair. She gave me a beautiful haircut today and product recommendations to help repair my hair and get it ready for a color correction. I was able to get an appointment scheduled quickly and there are just not enough good things I can say. Highly highly recommend this salon!

Karissa did such a fabulous job with my hair! Overall visiting this salon was an incredible experience. It is quiet and peaceful, which is something I prefer! Karissa helped bring my dull, straight hair to life with her amazing cutting skills. She is so knowledgeable and gave me great tips and tricks to get the most out of my haircut. She took her time and constantly checked in with me after each step she took while cutting my hair. It made me feel comfortable to give my input about what I liked and how I wanted my hair to look in the end. I have had some anxiety trying to find a new hairstylist 2 years after moving here and Karissa’s kindness and talent completely erased my stress. I cannot wait to come back! I got my haircut with Karissa at Wild Oak Studio, and had a wonderful experience. Karissa had lots of ideas about how to bring some life/shape back into my very thick, curly hair that had been neglected for a while, and I ended up with a beautiful layered cut I love that still has a lot of length. She was also a joy to talk to. I will definitely be back.

SAIGE quite literally saved me. After dying my hair brown pretty often and it ALWAYS turning reddish, I decided to just grow it out and go back to my natural color (dirty blonde). After almost 7 years of growing it out I decided to get some highlights added to my hair to help break up the red that was still lingering. During my last few weeks in Okinawa I had an appointment scheduled at one of the salons to have my hair lightened and was so excited to get rid of the red once and for all. Well of course, I left that salon devastated, my hair was dyed the exact same color I was trying to grow out for the past 7 years!!! My mum recommended Wild Oak Studio, because she had seen the reviews and their posts and thought I’d be able to get my hair fixed here and BOY DID I. After a few sessions Saige was able to get me back to my natural hair color and I am forever grateful. Thank you so much Saige!!!!
