Fantastic salon with a staff of people who really care about their clients. I've been seeing the same stylist here for years now and have never left an appointment unhappy. If anything ever were to go wrong, I know they'd make it right.

Becca colors my hair every 3 months and she is absolutely amazing! She always does such a beautiful job on the Balayage and when my hair grows out a bit, it still looks fantastic. I recommend her 100%. Also, she is super nice!

Very cute salon! I am in town for a wedding and desperately needed a trim, so they fit me in for cut & curl. Services and a travel size product was $100 - I’m amazed at how affordable! The salon is clean and luxurious and all the staff are so friendly and professional. Definitely recommend and would return here on my next visit!

I hate leaving bad reviews, especially bc staff was really nice. But I recently got a full balayage here and hate it. I asked for a soft brown bc I have very dark hair, I wanted something soft and barely noticeable. Well, instead I have a red looking and very noticeable balayage. The stylist tried to blame the light in the salon and she did try to fix it, but couldn’t. I pretended I liked it bc I didn’t want her to mess with my hair even more. Not going back. I also got a haircut and that was ok, nothing superb.

I am so grateful to have found Becca, a true artist! It was first time seeing her - she listened and gave her recs and I love my balayage and haircut. The salon space is clean, airy and a lovely place to spend an afternoon.

Unfortunately had a horrible experience with a full balayage coloring service from Ashley Kniffin that left my hair with orange / dark yellow chunks despite walking through that I wanted a natural warm blonde tone and looking at a photo from Pinterest during a pre-appointment consultation. Ashley was nice to fix some of the areas after my appointment and I was scheduled to come in for a 3rd time to tone and blend more but my appointment as canceled last minute and I was told I would have to see a different stylist and pay on top of the $400 I already spent to fix it. Now I'm left with hair that needs to be fixed by another salon right before the holidays. Please do yourself a favor and do not make the mistake I did; go to a different salon.

A great stylist here, carlee, was able to use my formula that was from Schwarzkopf transfer it into goldwell, and really fix my long red hair color that was uneven…… from my former stylist not saturating and leaving the glaze on long enough the week Before…. I am Very interested now in switching to Goldwell color for my future appointment in 6 weeks. Really loved the stylist and the salon!

I am saddened to have to write this review but I’m hoping I can save someone else from experiencing what I’m going through. I had my first Brazilian blowout and j had great results. The second time which was ~15 weeks later was where things went horribly wrong. The first red flag was when my stylist “offered” to let me go home with the chemical on and just to be careful to not get it in my eyes when I wash it at home a couple hours later. Luckily I refused and wanted the full service. Well, fast forward 3 months and FIFTY percent of my hair has fallen out. My dermatologist said my hair follicles are damaged and when that happens it occurs 2-3 months post which aligns with the Brazilian blowout. If you research Brazilian and hair loss it is mind blowing how often this is occurring for people. Oddly enough many with the second time you have it done. Please please don’t get Brazilian blowouts. There is a reason there aren’t many places that do them. They are toxic and now I have to live my choice. I’m depressed now with the amount of hair I have lost. It’s awful

I hate leaving a negative review but I’m upset about my last visit to this salon. A few months ago I had my first Brazilian blowout with Zee and I loved it, and her, so much that I booked an appointment for my mom a few days later with her. This week, I made a last minute appointment with a different stylist because Zee was booked. I wanted to try the Brazilian express and the experience was completely different. The stylist was completely careless, ripping through tangles in my hair, applying the product to the skin, and I kept having to move my hair out of my face. This was concerning because the chemicals are strong. My eyes started watering and I had to ask for a fan, and she brought over one that was covered in dust. At my last appointment Zee had a fan ready and brought me protective eye glasses to wear, and was very careful during the application. I left with my hair still not completely dry, a tender scalp, watery eyes and sore throat. I had to wash my hair again at home because she didn’t wash it well and it reeked of chemicals so much that my husband noticed.

Zee is the best!! She gave me my first permanent color job and it turned out amazing. She maintains it beautifully, and is my unofficial therapist while she does my hair. She listens to what you want and lends her experience to it. The salon has a great vibe and is totally worth what you pay.

Danielle was an excellent stylist. I hadn't had a professional cut in many years and my hair was not in good shape. She took the time to carefully work all the tangles out and giae an excellent trim and shape up. Looking forward to coming back

I absolutely love this salon! I have been getting Brazilian Blowouts since 2011. I have never ever had them be as thorough or last as long as the ones ive gotten here! Micah is an absolute sweetheart and hair whisperer! She takes her time, gets to know you, and your hair. Every suggestion she has made for the health of my hair has been incredible! I never feel rushed, and leave beaming! We did a full balayage this time and I was pretty scared. The last time I had professional hair color I went home and cried it was so awful and felt they didnt listen at all ): Micah did an incredible job explaining the reality of the colors and process it would take to achieve a lighter color for my near black hair. Recommend Micah 15/10. Here is before and after, hair is only blow dried and still sooo smooth!

I adore this salon soooooo much. Chelsea Lang is the best!!! I could go on and on about her all day. She does the best Balayage highlights and has really just transformed my hair. She should get a pay raise. I will say that that everyone here is so friendly and kind. If I could not get an appointment with her if I'm in a pinch, I would feel very confident on using another stylist here. Everyone comes out of that salon looking like a million bucks. I highly recommend this place.

Highly recommend this salon. It’s very cute, the staff is super friendly, and the price decent. My stylist was Cat, and she was fantastic. My hair was difficult to work with due to damage and mass. But she took her time and gave me a very pretty haircut that I absolutely love.

Wonderful salon!! Highly recommend. I went for the first time today and had an excellent experience. Micah was great!! Love my highlights, color and style. Amazing, amazing job as always. Zee does cuts and fantasy hair like nobody's business. The staff are always amazing and polite. They offer you drinks when you walk in. I love going there and I love what I come out with. They do excellent work and make it fun while you do it. Thanks!

I really enjoy this salon! I like to go to Mikel, however, all the other stylists are really friendly and I have a great time talking to them while I'm there. I've only had Mikelb do my hair, and he works wonders! I do not have easy hair to work with. It's baby fine and it don't have a lot of it, to top it off, it's curly and chemically damaged, yet Mikel manages to take care of it in a safe and healthy way and give me a cut to keep it looking fresh and nice every time I see him. I always enjoy seeing the other clients and seeing what they have done to their hair and everybody leaves the salon looking fabulous! If you're in need of a new salon in Austin, I highly recommend this Downtown location.

Not impressed. I got my hair dyed and balayged. Hair looked good when I left, but I week later I washed my hair and the color washed out. I reached out to the salon and they said I needed more toner and that it was normal for the color to wash out. They were originally only going to refund me $25 when I spent over $300. Finally settled on a price of $50, which is still not a refund I think is acceptable. Washed my hair the second week and even more color washed out. I've had my hair done many times and color has never washed out this fast! Now I'm going to have to resort to box dye, cause I dont have the extra money to go somewhere else and get my hair fixed.
