I love, love this salon - the vibe is always so warm and welcoming. I feel beautiful when I leave, not just because Shannon does an amazing job with cuts and color for “stubborn” grey, but because she fills my soul back up a bit with her kind words, support, and genuine heartfelt care. High recommend!

I love this salon! I have thick, curly hair and had one bad haircut 25 years ago. Bill has been doing my hair ever since. Not one bad haircut in 25 years!! My color always looks spectacular 👏👏👏👏

I went to this salon for several months. Amazing talent with hair - but kind of toxic and disrespectful - my stylist would talk to other stylists about me surreptitiously, even gesturing, while I was sitting there with color developing! Like middle school. Unprofessional. Added note: Shannon has contacted me tonight by text after this review, claiming I was responsible for her behavior and threatening me with defamation. I hardly know this person, I just didn’t like the way I was treated by her at her salon.

Went here today as a first time guest and I will without question be going back. The owner, William, did my hair and he did exactly what I wanted. Not only did he do my hair perfectly but everyone was so friendly and the vibe was just amazing. I left feeling confident, relaxed, validated and just like a total baddie! I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem.

my teenage son had his first salon experience here this past week and we were both definitely pleased with all of the experience. he had his haircut by the owner himself. my son's hair is thick and very curly (and unashamedly I would also say quite beautiful!) in the past he's going to barbers and that was not what he needed, after having this experience I definitely know now that he will return for future haircuts!

It's less of "getting a haircut" and more of an experience that leaves you feeling rejuvenated and reinvented. You can tell that these folks love what they do and they do it so well! If you go once, you'll be hooked in the best way possible! William (Bill) of the place's namesake is a true gem of Louisville!

It had been too long since my last cut and color and o was so glad William could get me in. What he did with my hair is just short of a miracle. The color is perfect, but he gave me a cut that just made the waviness of my hair turn into full-on curls! I honestly can’t remember the last time I walked out of a salon feeling this good about my hair! This is my go-to place for as long as I’m here. Top Notch in style,customer service, and atmosphere!!!

All I can say is Wow!!! I have curly hair and it was in a terrible state. Shannon cut it and gave me an amazing hairstyle, not just a cut, and it looks amazing!! She is fun and super talented at what she does!! We talked like we'd been friends forever! You should go here!! Seriously...you should! I can't wait to go back again when the time comes!!

He done miracles for My hair. I've been to a few places and not one place could do what I wanted but would chaste me top dollar. I was ashamed to go in public but thanks to Mr. Master hands dean I love my new look I look forward to seeing him again. Sharon his wife also works along side him and has the touch of magic she is also very good. Watching them work there magic together is amazing so whatever style u desire this is the place to go. Also, they offer a couples specialty so if you're interested in something new or just different I promise you won't regret it.

I love William deans salon ever since I fist step foot through the doors. The environment is very friendly and it makes you feel at home. To everyone looking for a new hairstyle I highly recommend Lauren!!!! She is amazing with hair and absolutely caring of her clients. Anything you show her she can do and she makes you feel like a brand new person. I have never gotten haircuts before I found her and I will never go to another person. William deans salon is the best salon for anyone living in Louisville no matter how far you live you will never be disappointed once you walk in. I went here for my wedding hair. It is apparent to me now that the person who did my hair didn’t know how to do loose waves. He kept telling me the curls would fall but the curls he was doing would never fall into what I asked for. I spoke up and then another person who worked there rolled her eyes and nearly spoke poorly about me to my person of honor. We ended up buying a curling iron and fixing it ourselves because what I wanted was boho and what he gave me was southern bell. Not only did they not give me what I clearly asked for, they tried to gaslight me into thinking it was wonderful when it WASN’T WHAT I ASKED FOR.

I was today the first time at William`s Salon .It`s not the last time. I wanted to let my gray growing out but I changed my mind.
