It was almost $500 for 3 hours, and it was completely not worth it. The body massage was more of a rub than anything. The $110 pedicure was horrible. No scrub! No massage. I was told the price included shellac and polish removal. However, I was charged extra. My feet feel and look dry 😩. All she did was wash my feet, remove and apply polish. I did enjoy the body scrub. The hot tub water was cloudy and dirty. I have been here twice, well never again.

This was my first experience at a resort spa so I had high expectations. On arrival I was given a tour of facility. Staff was friendly and informed me of the all-day amenities included: sauna, steam room, pool, showers, jacuzzi, a few snacks and drink options such as wine and mimosas. I headed to the outdoor pool before my massage. The entire pool is shaded as is most of the seating area. This left lots of leaves in the pool. There was one corner in the sun. I attempted to get in the pool but even with temps over 100 degrees, it was too cold for me to get in. There was loud construction going on next door. Not very relaxing. The landscaping seemed a bit neglected. The hanging swings were dirty. There is no seating in the locker rooms or anywhere to set your things. My massage was nice but no different than one I received for a 1/3 of the cost. The spa as a whole was nice but given the cost, not one I’d revisit.

I booked an 80min massage for my mom to celebrate her 57th birthday. She enjoyed the spa amenities so much. Very relaxing and tranquil/clean environment. Unfortunately her deep tissue massage consisted of rolling tools rather than hands on massaging. She was very dissatisfied and in pain throughout.

I had three services today and the whole experience was wonderful! Kathleen, the manager, is an angel and made my experience top notch. Would recommend this spa to anyone and looking forward to when I can return myself.

We visited the Hyatt Regency for a Valentine's weekend, and I spent most of my time at Windflower Spa. The spa is a little dated but i think pretty nice. There was work being done at the spa (I think hvac) so they had relocated the massage/ facial rooms to the hotel which was fine, a short walk outside and the weather was great so it didn't matter. I scheduled a facial, followed by a full body massage. There were several people also receiving services. So the lady shows me around after I arrive and she points out the lockers, showers, hot tub, coed area, steam room, dry sauna, waiting room, dressing area, everything. What she didn't do is walk me over to the steam room entrance to see that there was a notice on the door stating it was out of order. She knew this, but said nothing. Ok, so no steam room, I can deal with that I guess. Next, there was no seating in the locker area or dressing area (where the sink and mirrors are). Ok, I guess I can stand and do my hair and make up. Minor inconveniences but still, with those prices I was assuming everything would be perfect. The outdoor area facing the golf course was comfy. Nice huge swings hanging from the huge oak tree. The pool area outside was good, had seating, hammocks, comfy. There were snacks, infused water, fresh fruit. My facial was very basic, lots of rubbing, no pore cleaning or massage, just rubbing. There also wasn't really wasn't a scent, like a calming scent in the room or a scent for the CBD items i paid for them to use in my facial. It felt good but not 215$ good, not even close. I spoke with my masseuse beforehand and let him know the area I needed deeeeep tissue massage. I don't know if he was scared to hurt me but I kept saying it's ok you can do it harder. I finally just stopped talking. It was nice, but not 265$ nice, not even close. I'm not trying to bash the spa but I think they can improve by reading not only my review but several others. I have traveled and visited spas around the country and Windflower was nice, but I think that for the quality of service, it's overpriced. In Texas, I'd rate several spas higher than this and they were not quite this expensive. Now you may think it's a money issue, but I'd pay double what I did if I knew I'd be getting a deeper tissue massage like I asked for plus use of all amenities (and all of them in working order) for the duration of my stay. I only could use the amenities day of, $20 charge for any other day of my stay which doesn't sound like much but at least let me know that the steam room isn't working! Did I mention the Q tips? I've bought cheap Q tips before but these must have cost .0001 cent for 50,000 of them! Worst Q tips I've ever used! Do not use the Q tips in your ear bcuz they are so flimsy they'll break right off. Just weird that a resort/spa would skimp on something like that.

Don't book over phone and make sure you call them on a different day to confirm your appointment! We booked Jan. 31 for appt on Feb 16, showed up to the appointment only to be turned away because they never added it to the schedule. No offer to make the situation right or compensate for, as they explained, their "glitch in the system". Unfortunately, an extremely disappointing experience.

The look is just TOO country for my taste. Didn't really feel "resort-ish" more like a tavern in the woods. Yet I did have an Excellent massage and I really loved the free mimosas. The service makes up for the lackluster decor.

Bad customer service when booking over the phone, not many options for couples nor are they willing to accommodate for special occasions, place is outdated, Don't recommend.

Facility was fairly small, but the staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to make you comfortable.. All of the technicians providing us services were excellent. The deepest tissue massage I received from Roxy was about the best I ever had.. and it was simply outstanding! From the moment I walked in the door, Roxy exuded professionalism and expertise that instantly put me at ease. Roxy's deep tissue massage technique was nothing short of magic. The pressure she applied was both firm and precise, allowing for a truly immersive and therapeutic experience. Her ability to instinctively identify areas of tension in my body and work on them with incredible precision was truly remarkable. I could feel the knots melting away as she skillfully worked through each muscle group. Not only was Roxy highly skilled in her craft, but her personalized approach and attention to detail made the experience even more exceptional. She took the time to listen to my concerns and preferences before beginning the massage, ensuring that the treatment was tailored to my specific needs. Her warm and friendly demeanor created a comforting environment, making it easy to relax both physically and mentally. Throughout the massage, Roxy maintained open communication, checking in frequently to ensure the pressure was just right and making necessary adjustments to guarantee my comfort. Her dedication to providing an unforgettable experience was evident throughout the entire session. The ambiance of the spa was also worth mentioning. The tranquil atmosphere, soothing background music, and aromatic scents all contributed to the overall relaxation and rejuvenation I felt during my visit. After the massage, I left feeling completely revitalized and rejuvenated. The tension and tightness I had been experiencing were alleviated, and I walked out with a renewed sense of well-being. Overall, I cannot recommend Roxy's deep tissue massage therapy enough. Her exceptional skills, personalized approach, and the overall ambiance of Windflower truly set this experience apart. If you're in need of a deeply therapeutic and rejuvenating massage, be sure to request Roxy. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! #RoxyMagic #DeepTissueHealing #UltimateRelaxation

I've been here a few times for the spa day package and it's been nice. They have great amenities. The pool is beautiful and they offer drinks and snacks including wine and mimosas. It's a relaxing environment and I haven't found anything better in San Antonio yet. The skincare products for facials are by Eminence organic skincare and they are really great. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because there are tiny ants by the pool and I always try to go out there after my services but can't relax.

It was nice. The massage wasn’t great at all. It didn’t help that last year’s couples massage at La Cantera was the best massages my wife and I ever had. This one seemed like amateurs did it. The free mimosas were nice, but you can only get them when there happens to be someone there to pour them for you. I think they’re told to only be available here and there so they don’t serve a lot of them. The spa pool water was chilly since it’s completely shaded. My wife couldn’t stay in it long and it was 100 degrees outside. It’s a nice area though. It would be nice if they delivered drinks to you in pool area like La Cantera does. That’s more our speed.

My friend and I enjoyed our Mothers Day here at the Spa. We loved the pool and hot tub. Very relaxing. Surprisingly the snacks we bought at Papa Ed's were big ! Food and drinks were yummy. We'd come back again.

My husband and I went to the WindFlower Spa for our anniversary. I really wanted a spa that had additional amenities like a sauna and hot tub and WindFlowr had these things and more. We really loved our time there! The employees and massage therapists were all awesome and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The spa offers yummy snacks, drinks and mimosas. After our treatments, we each spent time in the sauna and hot tubs offfers in the ladies/men's locker room. After that, we lounged around the outdoor heated pool, laid in the hammocks, and just soaked up the sun. The property is beautiful and we loved just hanging out! I've already talked to my sisters about a girls day there! Can't wait to come back.

This is hard because the grounds; pool, steam room, suana, whirlpool, relaxation area were all fantastic. The refreshments process needs improvement. I don't mind waiting, but I felt like a nuisance for asking...and got the sense other guests felt the same.

This was my second trip there. I paid extra for a foot massage and she didn't spend 5 minutes on that, didn't do my scalp and really was rough on my bk,I had pain the next day and the hot tub is a joke outside... won't be returning

Gifted a package here along with a friend. It was beautiful, as my friend called before hand to book the services the receptionist let her know we could take out swimsuits because with each service you’re able to use all of the amenities! Which included a dry sauna, wet sauna, 2 hot tubs and a pool. We went in February so we couldn’t really use the pool but it was super nice and clean. I tied to go in but definitely too cold. The whole environment was relaxing and the staff was super inviting! Definitely something worth doing! Would definitely go back!! We both got a massage and pedicure. Both services for the both of us were amazing!

Had an amazing experience getting a massage, using their jetted hot tub, then hitting the sauna. Afterwards enjoyed mimosas by the pool!

My mom and I were gifted a spa day here at the Windflower for Christmas this year. We had an incredible time! This was both her and my first time at a spa like this, and our whole experience felt luxurious and relaxing. I look forward to coming back again soon!

Pricey but highly recommend. This place is so serene & relaxing. Went for a birthday massage 💆🏽♀️ that was amazing, too short 🤭 but much needed. Stayed for the jacuzzis, saunas, heated pool, views, plenty of comfy seating & relaxation. They are so inviting & welcoming from start to finish. Everything was clean & quiet. Calm relaxing music playing indoors & outdoors. Lockers with keys to hold all your belongings. Showers were spacious and had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, shave gel & plenty of towels. A sitting area to get ready, complete with blow dryers, lighted mirrors, lotion, q-tips & various other amenities. They gave me a tour & explained where everything was. The spa area is off to the side, so not much noise aside from nature, no kids allowed in the area. The robe is so plush & comfy. I wanted to bring it home with me. They also provide sandals. Complimentary snacks muffins, granola bars, water, tea, coffee, & mimosas. You can order food from the restaurants on site & have it delivered for a fee. Or take a leisurely walk to the dining area, they have several places to choose from. The bistro has snacks, starbucks coffee & some food items as well. I'm definitely planning another spa day, maybe with my sister.

Pros: Great massage therapists! Hands down . My Mother and I were truly impressed. Cons: the place is run down and not kept on par with what they charge. It was Sunday when we visited and we were one of a few people there. So clearly they don’t get enough clientele there so they make up by charging max for everything. I have been to many spas in developing countries and the facilities are all modern and well kept. I just don’t understand why this place that charges above and beyond what it is worth can not maintain its facilities to modern world standards.
