Emily was my hero today! I came in with a botched haircut. She took me from crying in the chair to confidently rocking my look. Even though I only scheduled a short service, she went above and beyond with me by taking the time to ensure my cut was accurate to what I wanted and even showing me how to style my hair! I am so grateful for her services and compassion. I'll be back!

Not only does she make my hair look amazing, but I always look forward to seeing her to catch up. At Windowwall one of the stylists has a dog that is there sometimes, and it is literally the best thing ever. I honestly couldn't think of a way to make my experience any better here, and I'm a client of Elizbeth's for life! <3

I can’t recommend Elizabeth enough! I first saw her when I was very pregnant and not feeling my best. She completely turned around a rough covid balayage job from another salon. She even called me before the appointment to see what my hair goals are which was a lovely touch especially for a hair novice like me. Six months later she gave this very tired new mom a much needed refresh, a great chat, and got me out the door in record time.

I found Elizabeth (and WindowWall) randomly from a social media search when I moved to Portland & have been going to her/there ever since! I have even referred several of my friends to her who also have become repeated customers. She does an amazing job with cuts & color, is super communicative & flexible with scheduling, and is the sweetest. Not to mention the salon is beautiful & conveniently located. Highly recommend.

I had my first appointment with Elizabeth in early spring 2023. Parking was easier than I expected. The salon was clean and comfortable for waiting in. I loved my haircut after I got it, but I think my hair shows its true new shape a few days later after I rewash and style it, and I have loved it ever since. I have bangs, medium length/medium S-shaped waves that do not have good definition; so I came in with it looking natural so she could see what she was really working with. I asked for a cut with texture so you can various lengths and I was hoping for a little bit of face-framing. Its a couple months later and it is growing out perfectly. It still has definition and looks great straight, curled, or with some curl cream for my natural waves. I'll be coming back. Thanks Elizabeth. Also, thanks for the glass of rosé <3

I have been going to Elizabeth for my hair needs for a year and half now. I followed her to WINDOWWALL from her previous salon. After I moved to Portland from SF, I was on the search for someone to keep up my dimensional blonde. Most recently, I have switched to a darker, lower maintenance dimensional brown. Elizabeth has been amazing at handling my hair needs and transitions! She is exceptionally transparent about her pricing by stating explicitly what the cost will be before she starts her work. She is also super helpful at educating me on my hair and needs. Sometimes I don’t always know how to describe what look I am going for but she helps guide me through it without making me feeling silly. The salon also has plenty of natural light, never feels crowded with other clients, and has the cutest vibe/decor. I would highly recommend Elizabeth as your next stylist!

I have been going to Elizabeth for nearly seven years now, and I’ve never been disappointed. My hair always looks and feels healthy and gorgeous, and Elizabeth is always up for something new and fun! From platinum bobs to vivids to dimensional color and extensions, she has literally seen me through it all. She’s also a riot- it doesn’t feel just like getting my hair done, more like hanging out with a friend with the added bonus of leaving with incredible hair. Her prices are always fair and she’s super transparent about not just pricing, but also if what I want is achievable and why. It’s amazing to know that she won’t just do something to get the sale- she really cares about getting there in a way that protects my hair as well. I've been seeing Allie Chino for over a year now, and followed her to this beautiful new salon. First, the salon is so beautiful and calming, so much natural light. It's a delight to spend several hours there. Allie is just incredible. She has tons of experience and is an absolute genius and a gem. She really listens to what her clients want and helps them focus in on their goal and how it will turn out. She pays so much attention to detail even when she has been at it for hours! My hair is extremely thick and takes so freaking long to color, it always has been very difficult for me to get it done in the past. Allie books extra time for me and never seems tired of my crazy hair and works just as meticulously towards the end of several hours as at the beginning. I initially started seeing her for a beast of a color correction that she pulled off masterfully, and I've come to get ever since for both her skill with color, and also her ability to cut my long thick hair into a beautiful, manageable shape. She does an AMAZING job and I would seriously travel to come see her if I didn't live here!

It's always nerve wracking to try a new salon , but Elizabeth was amazing ! Before our appointment she sent me detailed instructions on parking and how to access the salon which eased my anxiety. Elizabeth was really thorough and educated in our consultation and also had wonderful price transparency. She was super sweet and knowledgeable through the color and cut and really made sure we were on the same page with the end result . Elizabeth even checked in with me a few days later to see how I was liking my hair which was really nice! Overall I had a lovely experience with her and enjoyed her strong communication . The salon is adorable as well. Highly recommend !

I’ve been seeing Elizabeth for three years, and love that she’s now at Windowwall. Elizabeth is an amazing listener, and will break down the cost of her services at the start of the appointment (offering alternatives if necessary) so you can manage your budget effectively. Her coloring talents are incredible, and she readily offers resources and tips to keep your hair healthy. I like that she offers silent appointments, though I prefer chatting since she is so nice and full of great book/tv/food recommendations. I always leave with a wealth of new info and the softest, buttery-blended hair. Sometimes there is even a cute dog there demanding belly rubs! Moving to Portland three years ago, I was in search of a hairstylist and was surprised when the first person I went to charged me $600! I found Elizabeth on Instagram and felt lucky to get an appointment with her. She’s the BEST hair stylist I’ve ever been to. She is always so sweet and extremely knowledgeable with my hair. She’s also extremely transparent with her pricing which is something I really appreciate. I trusted Elizabeth so much that I moved salons with her when she moved! My stylist in LA was the only one I trusted for years, so much so that I used to wait to get my hair done until I could travel back. I had been burned before - my dark brown, nearly black hair, was dyed to a dreadful orange and I was determined to never have that happen again. Lucky for me, I found Elizabeth on Instagram! She had found difficulty with stylists dyeing dark brown hair in the past, so she perfected a method to avoid the dreadful orange. And perfect she did! I have been seeing her for 4ish years now and followed her from a previous studio. She is so kind, professional, fun, easy to talk to, and the results speak for themselves. My hair is prettier and healthier than ever. I highly recommend to anyone, especially those with dark brown hair who need a trusted partner in achieving their hair goals.

Have been seeing Kelly Picard for my hair coloring needs for 3 years since moving here from the east coast. She came highly recommended to me from my salon in New Jersey as her amazing reputation followed her out here from her NYC days. She is extremely professional in every aspect of the process from scheduling to payment. I am always completely satisfied with the finished product, my hair looks great and I get a ton of compliments. As someone who has been doing full foil highlights for several years her services stand out as the best amongst the different colorists I have seen. I recommend Kelly to all my friends in the area who is looking for highlights or color.

I absolutely love this salon. The vibe is immaculate and the location is perfect. All the stylists are so kind and welcoming but my girl Indigo truly is the best. She’s great at listening to my wants and needs to make sure I walk out with exactly the look I had envisioned. She’s also super flexible. When ever I need an emergency service she is always able to get me in and out super quick while still feeling pampered. She’s also just the absolute sweetest. I can not recommend her and Windowwall highly enough.

I have seen 2 stylists here. The first was very nice and fun and gave a great haircut, but wasn’t great at toning so the color was weird. I have her 2 chances for color and we both acknowledged it was subpar. The 2nd stylist I saw was not very enjoyable to be around, was not great at hair, and was not transparent with pricing. Before I get a return comment saying I don’t understand a la carte pricing (like other complaints about it), I am 45 and have been to tons of salons, I can’t think of any that don’t have a la carte pricing. It’s not a confusing or foreign concept. Ms. Rask literally increased color alone from $270 to $360+. That is a 33% increase with no warning. When I asked she said it was announced on social media. I find it unacceptable to assume all your clients both follow you and watch your content regularly. She went on to say that she would refund the difference, but when she outlined the services I received, she made up some weird thing that cost most of the difference. If you are doing some service that is above the expected, you say that’s an extra $xx. She did not do that, because I believe this was a lie to just charge me more. Because she did offer me a treatment for an extra $50 cost, so why would she tell me that was extra, but not the “$50 to brighten the ends between each foil.” It doesn’t make sense and is unacceptable. Beyond that, she cut my hair to a middle part when I specifically said not to and my color is so harsh, my hair literally broke off on the most highlighted pieces. In fact, my hair is a frizzy mess despite the k18 treatment I received. I liked the color at first, but it all fell apart a few days after the service. Lastly, she was absolutely miserable to be around for 4 hours. She literally talked about herself the whole time and did not ask a single question about me. She was rude and pretentious. Now after paying almost $500, I hate my hair and this experience. I’m giving 2 stars because the first stylist was good, just not a great fit for me, the 2nd stylist should get negative stars for being dishonest.

WARNING: My first appointment here (full foil and cut) got upcharged from the posted initial price point by 55%. End result was a bill, BEFORE tip, of $507!!! This was a painful learning lesson in not assuming anything. I'm 39 years old, and have had my hair done in multiple salons and cities, all for far less expense (typically ranging from $250-300). The cut/color itself was fine (not amazing), and the space is beautiful, but the pricing is outrageous. If you have thick hair, or any other situation which would require extra time or product, BEWARE THE UPCHARGE.

I reserved an appointment online with Geneva Garcia for a haircut and balayage while I was in town. The appointment was for a Monday morning and on Saturday night I received an email from Geneva that she was on vacation camping and wouldn't even be there for the reservation, asking me if I could reschedule for another day. So frustrating to book an appointment that they knew wouldn't even happen. Please update your appointment calendar! With that short of notice I wasn't able to get an appointment anywhere else in time. No response from Geneva about the disappointment or poor customer service either. Truly poor.
