Got my hair permed here, it is not remotely like the picture I showed (small curls rather than larger ones), it looks nice but isn't what I wanted. Did not have a gentle touch, my head was sore for 2 days after my visit. I REALLY wish the lady had asked before she started cutting my hair. I had been growing it out and now it is a good 5 inches shorter than it was when I walked in there. I will for sure not be returning. Would not recommend.

Before I started going to this salon, I went to many places, but this was the most comfortable place, and they listened to my concerns and gave me advice, of course! They treated me so well that I felt like I was visiting a relative's house. If it lasted until around lunchtime, they would offer me something to eat or drink. I was treated to snacks many times. 😋 I only get my hair color and cut, but there are quite a few male customers, and when I see them getting a refreshing cut or perm, I'm also interested in Korean perms. If you're interested in trying out the hairstyles of K-pop idols or popular in Korea, I recommend this place. Why not give it a try?

Windy was so kind and knowledgeable! She helped advise me on haircare after my cut and I can definitely feel a difference with both the cut and using her advice! They were kind and the new salon location is very personal. I definitely felt taken care of!

My Korean Perms and male cuts always turn out really great, as close as you can to the pictures I've shown. Their prices are pretty mid-range but I never leave unhappy, so more than worth it. My hair has a cowlick and is just in general weird, so they always are super helpful and will answer any questions you have.

Growing up as a Korean American boy in the Bay Area, I have been on a quest to find someone who could cut my hair like I remember my Auntie did. Windy is the best Korean hair stylist in town. She is a true professional and knows exactly how east-asian male hair falls. She has a keen eye and even sharper sense. Thank you Windy! 25 year old Korean American male, two block cut.

In a city where it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find an affordable yet high quality haircut, I have found an absolute gem in Windy. The haircut Windy gave me completely transformed my look. I went from zero to hero. Although that last sentence took me back down to a zero. Windy is single handedly transforming this city into a better place with her fair prices and amazing talent.

I’ve been coming here for over a year to get haircuts and they always do amazing! I used to get my hair permed straight when I lived in Korea, so when I found out they do perms too I tried it out and they actually did SO much better than the hair salon in Korea. My hair has a hard time staying straight because it’s super curly but the team at Windy puts so much care and attention in my hair that the first time I permed it with them, it stayed really straight. My hair has honestly become way healthier than before. On top of that, the service here is top notch!! I have so much love for the girls working here, thank you for everything y’all do!!! 🤍🤍🤍

I’ve been coming to Windy for three years. She is a true master stylist. Windy has expertly seen me through a pixie cut, a bob, and four perms! She adapts her methods at every phase my hair has been through and does a better perm than anyone in the business. I have since moved to San Antonio, and I still drive all the way to Austin for every service because she’s the only person I trust with my hair now. She rocks. My natural hair is pin-straight, by the way. Check out these curls!

Best experience ever!! The staff were the nicest and cooperative people that I have ever met and they even gave me a gift when I left! I’ve never had a Korean perm, so I was kind of nervous but they blew it out of the park. They were also kind enough to squeeze me in and work with my schedule. 10/10 best salon in Austin

I took my son to get a Korean perm and haircut here and holy cow! He wanted it more of a relaxed curl/wavy and that’s exactly what he got! They were so kind, so informative and did amazing! His confidence is through the roof. We definitely recommend Windy Salon and will be back!

Windy and Angie and the rest of their team know how to take care of their clients. I’ve been going for the past 2+ years (since their Airport Blvd location) and have gone back to see either Bea or Windy, and they always do a great job! I have thiiiick, straight hair that’s heavy and tough to style, but both women know how to thin it out and style it to perfection! I’ve gotten a digital perm 3x now and each time, it’s turned out exactly the way I wanted it. Just be clear with what you want and they’ll work with you to get it just right. They’ve recently moved to this new location and though it’s much smaller, it feels more intimate which is what I like especially when it comes to feeling special while getting my hair done 🥰

My hair cut was done so professionally and staff was so informative on what I could do with my hair. I had arrived quite late due to not living in Austin and being familiar with the area, and my appointment still went on! Windy knows what she is doing!

Been going here for several months now, and ever since is now the only place I come for haircuts and Korean perms. The staff is always so sweet and tends to remember me and what kinda hair I like. They also were very informative when I first got my perm and always manage to squeeze me in and work with my schedule. I always leave feeling great and will ofc be back, highly recommend:)

I went for my first time for a haircut and the hairstylists were so thoughtful and pleasant. I really liked my haircut and felt like the service was very straightforward so I liked that a lot. Haircut was very affordable and well done🙂 I will return again in a few months.
