Lani has cut my hair a few times and each time it has been great , however the last time she cut and washed my hair was a very very bad experience. Her hairwash times before used to be lovely but she just patted on the shampoo didn't even work into my hair as a lather. ( Pretty sure there was still shampoo in my hair ) Then when I showed her what length I wanted and how many inches off ( hair cut hadn't started) and I had my hair all pulled to one side with hand to show her how much I wanted off she GRABBED THE SCISSORS AND WALKED BY WITHOUT TELLING ME AND CUT A HUGE CHUNK OFF THE BOTTOM I WAS SO SHOCKED I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO SAY. She said it would be (easy to brush out) in her words. Didn't ask me if I wanted it longer in the back and shorter in the front ( what she usually had done 3 times before, or what kind of layers. I had long beautiful hair and she butchered it. Like I said the times before had been great, not sure if she was having an off day or what but my hair looks awful. I went in with long hair to my lower back to hair at my shoulders when I wanted a trim with layers. Sad to say but I can't come back... I've always tipped her a lot before as well but this experience was the absolute worst. Sad but I definitely have to go somewhere else, and also find clip in extensions in the meantime so I can adjust.

It's always a wonderful experience to visit Wolf's European Hair Salon. I walk in feeling so ordinary and I leave looking fabulous with a new hair style. Lani is a superb stylist and she knows just the right style with highlights to make me look and feel young at heart. My husband falls in love with me over and over again!

I’ve been getting my highlights touched up here for a year and have loved the results every time! The color always looks great, the atmosphere comfortable, and the people are all so kind. This is definitely my go to place for all of my hair needs. Highly recommend

Lani Dao made my day! I needed a perm before a major trip and she exceeded my expectations. I didn’t expect to get any appointments on the same day but I found one for this salon. I took the chance and I was not disappointed! Here are before and after pictures of my hair.

Me and my friend were very pleased with our hair, Lani took her time and was very patient with how we wanted our hair. Although my friend wanted a bit of her natural hair to shine through she was still pleased at the end even though it didn't look like that picture that much it still looked amazing. Our hair isn't that damaged even though we went through multiple sessions. I loved how my hair turned out and I can't wait for it to fade into a lighter pink! If you are thinking about asking for highlights I highly suggest Lani!

2 stars for being nice and accommodating but if you come here for an updo, look elsewhere. It started badly already when the stylist was blowdrying my hair oh high heat close to my skin and burned it twice. We had to stop to let it cool down because I was in pain. After numerous time trying to tell the stylist what to do, I gave up, paid, left and ended up fixing my hair myself.

I definitely recommend this salon specially Lani. I came to DTLA for a short trip and found this salon by chance. It is at the 4th floor of Westin Hotel. My hair was having uneven color tones and other issues. Lani was very attentive to details, professional and experienced to solve the complicated issues that I had. She managed her time well to ensure customers walk out the door beautifully! Thank you so much Lani, I will certainly find chance to come back.

I have been going to Wolf's European Hair Design for over 16 years now and I love this place. They're very profesional and friendly. Lani is the best at doing my hair color & highlights. She's always very accommodating with my schedule. They have complementary parking validation. I appreciate the service including tea and the delicious coffe 😊☕️ Highly recommend!

Wolf's European Hair Design is absolutely one of the best places in town regarding professional hair cuts, washes, coloring, along with many other services. His staff are super friendly and are all very respectful and flexible as well. With a very professional and clean salon, this place deserves to be seen and visited. You will not be disappointed and you will have a very genuine experience that you will want to come back to. His services and experiences are the reason as to why this place has been around for such a long time!

This is the worst salon I have ever been to. Before I pod for the service I showed the owner my hair and ASKED if they had any experience with my type of hair and she told me yes she could do it. She washed my hair great, but when it was time for the actual blowout that I requested she tried combing it out all in one piece instead of sectioning, I had to HELP them detangle my hair then she tried to flat iron my hair without blow drying it which defeat the whole purpose of a ‘blowout’. The whole experience was traumatizing and pulled out half of my hair. Lastly I asked her to cut it and she told me she was ‘scared’ as a professional that has a CAREER in doing hair why would you be scared to something so simple. AND then she tried to make it seem like she was doing me a favor by doing the hair cut for free after I basically detangled my whole head MYSELF. At the end of my appointment I asked her if would be taking money off for the inconvenience and she stated she already gave me the hair cut for free. THIS IS THE WORST SALON AND PROFESSIONALISM I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. My ‘blowout’ looked a week old before I made it home. She shouldn’t ever call herself a hairstylist

I’m from out of town and staying at the Westin so I came in today trying to get my eyebrows waxed and they were so rude . Lady told me to come back at 3 or don’t come at all when I called and they proceeded to laugh in the background on the phone . Will never come back or refer anyone here smh

Worst quality of nail fill ever. Ragid edges, lumps and polish on finger around nails. No clean up underneath nail. Totally messy job.

This salon is really great! They are tucked in the hotel and are low profile but they took me as soon as there was an opening. Manny gave me the “fix it” cut I have needed for going on a good 5 years!!! I have found my go-to place and will get my hair done here when I come to town. - I’m even willing to fly in from NC to get it done ... yup it is that that good - thank you Manny and team
