I’ve had the same hair stylist for 15 years so I was a little nervous getting a cut by someone new. Beth was so kind and took great care of my hair! I got the exact cut I wanted and walked away with advice, and tips on how to take good care of my locks! Here’s the before and after!

Micheal is the most expert hairdresser there is, for men and women. He cuts for supermodels but makes even a regular schmoe like me feel just as valued. I haven’t let anyone else cut my hair in over 20 years! As a guy who has worn his hair both short and Dave Grohl/Beatles-long I can say without question that I always leave his salon feeling more confident than when I sat down. Best of all his cuts grow out so well that I never go through that “awkward stage;” I regularly get compliments and colleagues often ask where I get my hair cut. And frankly he is a joy to chat with. As I tell my wife he’s my longest relationship! Cannot recommend his salon highly enough. Go!!

Bayond bad service with bartenders Took my money for single dollar bills and never came back Seriously just ask for tip don't do busy act I would have tip more then that if it was ask for it Definitely not coming back for sure At least train the bartender better Horrible service on top of $800 VSOP bottle Never again thanks to Terrible service I know I'll get back a apologize reply but not worth my time Your apologize don't mean much when I wasted my time I just wish your bartender knew better ..

Wonderland Beauty Parlor is a wonderland and a treasure in NYC. Michael Angelo is an artist at his core and uses his incredible skills to transform whomever is lucky enough to sit in his chair. Michael, a veteran of the beauty industry has worked with the best of the best over the years- in his salon, on shoots, print and fashion shows, and in private homes. I have been a client since 2016 and always LOVE visiting the salon. There you will find the friendliest staff, other wildly talented beauty mavericks, and fun ornaments throughout, either tucked away or in plain sight (think mermaids in plastic bubbles, a madonna statue, rainbow care bear, a unicorn squishy, sparkly bits, and other fantastical items). Remember how your mom or grandma went to the local salon every week to get her hair done? I imagine the feeling of Wonderland echoes that old school type of salon...but...it's delivered with a wink and extra sparkle and delight. I highly recommend Wonderland...and so thankful it exists.

Christopher has been doing my hair for about 5 years. He's the best at natural beachy blonde highlights. He just gets it when I say I want to go blonder or be a little more rooty, it always sparkles in the right places! Highly recommend!

Have come to Wonderland for at least 14 years and have always been happy! My hair never looks as good as when I leave the salon! Chris is amazing at color and at taking care of my blonde hair! Such a positive happy vibe at Wonderland and it's the highlight ( yes pun Intended )of my day whenever I go in!

The front desk staff were very kind,but the rest of the experience was a nightmare. Needed to dye my hair back to original color and a trim. I was asked sit bolt upright during the hair cut(which never asked before in any other hair salon..) because otherwise he don’t know how to cut my hair. And the end was a terrible haircut anyway and exhausted my back. Not really recommend this place.

Loving the new space. It’s a definite must see. The stylists are true artists and can really transform your whole appearance As a mother who values these few precious hours to myself, I really felt like I was in a sanctuary. The staff is super welcoming, the space is intimate yet you feel you have privacy. Prices are reasonable and there really is an stylist that fits in any budget. The whole experience is an A+

Oh my goodness how can I ever express my LOVE for the wonderful, incredibly skilled and super warm hair genius that is Michael himself. He has been taking care of my super fine hair for years, and every time I see him I walk out feeling gorgeous and ready to conquer the world. HE MAKES MY THIN HAIR LOOK MASSIVE. I look like I have a massive, shiny and natural blonde mane, when I roll Out of bed in the morning. It’s crazy. He’s that good people. More: he is attentive and kind. He cares about the health and overall look of your hair. He takes such time and care making my hair the perfect blonde with the PERFECT CUT every single time. And because he’s a seasoned pro, he is relaxed, funny, and warm the entire time you’re in his chair. My only sad note is that there really is NO ONE out there in the ENTIRE WORLD as good as Michael. And I’ve looked.... guess I will have to keep saving up my air miles to fly to New York, because he is one in a bizillion. Flawless hair, every time. Which grows out perfectly. He’s simply the best there is.

I had a great experience here with Melissa! She is wonderful and so knowledgeable. She helped me decide on a color for highlights and glaze that suit my skin tone, and on a cut that works with my wavy hair, making it much more manageable. The experience overall was very relaxing, and I did not feel rushed at all, even though I came in towards the end of the day. The salon has an awesome mermaid theme, and I loved sipping complimentary champagne while getting my hair done! I've gotten lots of compliments on my hair and will definitely be back.

I was very excited when i heard about wonderland and was pleasantly surprised by the reviews on yelp. It saddens me to write that my experience at the salon was sub-par at best. My stylist was Laura and i went in for a haircut. Going in i wanted to make sure that i shared my vision of the haircut to the best of my ability. I also brought in a picture of the haircut that i wanted - it required layering my hair. She sounded confident. she spent about ten minutes on the actual cut with my hair wet and mentioned that she was going to do the finishing touches when my hair was dry. Upon drying and spending another 3 mintues cutting my hair it was obvious that all she did was trim my ahir by an inch and cut my bangs shorter. It was a sloppy job with chunky finishes to my hair. The bangs were cut carelessly and when i asked for her to perhaps layer in more to give it texture and look like the picture - she became defensive and told me that she did not understand my vision for the haircut - despite the picture presented. She then told me that i was clinging on to the vision of my picture too hard. Bottom line: Horrible experience, bad haircut which needed fixing by a different sytlist at a different salon an hour later.

I'm dismayed that they charged $75 for barely trimming the short hair of a 3yr old toddler when an unsuspecting grandmother took her granddaughter into the salon. Grandmother had no idea they would charge that much when a bang trim is free and cut on cropped hair is as low as $85. Of course with no price for child/toddler printed, and hearing a foreign accent, the salon saw and took the opportunity to rip off grandma and toddler. Lovely
