Update: 1/28/25 I've officially gone 4 times in the past year. I am definitely more of a mid week girly and I bring headphones to drown out everyone. 😂 But when I tell you this is my spot and I absolutely love this place! Soothing, relaxing, wonderful service, and ambiance. I like the sauna with a massage after. I did a facial but I just do not feel I am a facial girly. I've had 4 different massage therapists and thus far everyone was excellent. This last visit I did not want to leave! I appreciate that they let us lounge after our service. Can't wait to book my next visit! It is worth the cost. 1/28/24 I transcended! The back massage was amazing. She really helped me relax. The facial was okay. It was my first time so I don't really have anything to compare it to. The lady that did my facial was super sweet and informative. I gave it one star less because I felt there needs to be a bit more privacy in the lounge area. Sort of hard to stay relaxed with so many people chatting. I went on a Friday. I think the next time I go I will try to go earlier in the week. Not sure if I could request the quiet room or if that was extra. They made sure I stayed hydrated through my treatments, but they didn't do much follow up to make sure you got your tea or wine in the lounge area. But as mentioned before it was a busy day. The ambiance was beautiful. I just wish there was a way to enjoy the fire place in a sound proof space. Definitely would recommend to try! I suppose day spas are pricer compared to smaller message spas. Be prepared $$$. Overall wonderful experience. In addition loved the robe, warm beds and soothing hands.

I visited Woodhouse Spa earlier today, I treated myself to the signature calming retreat service. I highly recommend! A wonderful experience from start to finish, I left feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated. Larissa was my massage therapist and I cannot say enough great things about her, definitely one of the best massages I’ve ever had!

Loved the ambiance, service and amazing massage. I can't wait to come back. Would love to have a hook or shelf in the locker. I also would love a way to see what services are available on a specific day, instead of having to search service by service.

So relaxing! I always leave Woodhouse feeling renewed and refreshed. All the staff are kind and attentive. Love the relaxation room. Highly recommend the massages.

The Signature Calming Retreat with Michael is absolutely AMAZING! The dry brushing, the massage, the reflexology, the scalp massage, the shoulder and neck massage...I can not say enough good things! Thank you, Michael. The spa is elegant; however, it was missing some of the touches I love in an upscale spa - mainly the space to be still and slowly return to the real world. The bathroom/dressing area is small with tight lockers and no amenities such as hair dryers, nice showers and a comfortable place to get dressed. Also, the “Quiet” room was small with little personal space - it felt odd sitting there closely with two couples and two other women. I may return for another service becasue it was excellent and I know what to expect and bring with me.

Excellent service and attention to each guest. My wife and I recently went and had a great time. This was my wife’s first massage and she loved it. We both feel less tense and more relaxed on our bodies after the treatment. Thank you very much!

I never write bad reviews but when I spend $270 on treatment, I don't expect it to be stressful, unpleasant and lacking in any noticeable benefit. The issues were too numerous to elaborate on but the most annoying feature was that treatment room was very cold and all of the products applied felt as if they had been refrigerated and were applied with cold hands. Therapist explained that products were placed in towel warmer but didn't appear to heat at all, very unpleasant. Full body treatment was just lower legs, arms, stomach and back leaving several other areas untouched. Following the treatment did not feel like any quality product had been applied and could have done this at home. Could have gone to Umstead for this price and wish I would have.

This place is by far the best Spa, I have been too, the atmosphere the staff, everything about this place is on point. The salt room is so relaxing. The minute you walk into this place, you are greeted with a smile and feel so welcomed, the messages the facial’s that I have got here is always the best, the people who are giving you services always engage with you and ask you questions about pressure points and if there is any specific are that they need to focus on. The robes are so soft and the barrooms are super clean. Overall this facility is just amazing, you have a customer for life.

Updated: adding a comment to the owners response below as it will not let me reply back to her otherwise. Please state one violation/policy I broke causing you to fire me? I have only held my profession to the highest standard and gave 100% in team effort with my coworkers/management and customer service/massages to clients. This decision was based solely on poor management and ownership! I wish you well in your future endeavors as well and hope wiser decisions are made regarding your employees! As an employee and a massage therapist of 18 years…. I have had nothing but 5 star customer reviews and gave great customer service at the Woodhouse Spa. The manager Nicole and the owner Sonal of the spa fired me for what they called social media adherence. They fired me over defending/protecting my daughter on social media. The social media policy states no posting about employees or guests at Woodhouse which this had nothing to do with. The crazy part is I gave almost two years of dedication to the spa and when they called me into fire me did not even ask anything about what had happened. They went off one e-mail they received after I spoke out at a school board meeting and would not even show me the e-mail. It boiled down to my manager not agreeing with my views! I thought the owner would have more of a spine to back me up but apparently not! Their loss as I am a great massage therapist! Spa owners need to treat their employees better, not fire over Freedom of speech. I would take your money elsewhere as the owner only wants you in the relaxation room for 30 minutes prior to your appt time and then she wants you out!

Very relaxing spa. Love the massages I receive when I come. I had a facial once and it was lovely . Had glowing skin. Just wish they had a bigger locker room and more showers. More amenities included would be nice too.

It was a great experience with my husband for our 20th anniversary. There is room for improvements but a great experience nonetheless. Tips: create more cohesive atmosphere. I felt disconnected to the hosts and my masseuse. It felt very impersonal while also feeling upscale. There is something missing to make it exquisite I can’t put a finger on it. But you are almost there.

Finally had time in my schedule to redeem some gift cards I had purchased for myself and what a day. I booked 80 min massage and Michael was my therapist. The facility is very relaxing with a quiet room you get to sit in while waiting for your therapist and I enjoyed a mimosa. The quiet room is co-ed with lovely individual and couch seating. I took my wig off to enjoy the most relaxing scalp massage ever. I still have an available balance on two gift cards that I can’t wait to redeem. Unika B. & Co.

I recently went here for the first time to celebrate my birthday and I had an amazing experience. The robes were very soft and the bathrooms were clean. The relaxation room had nice chairs and calming music. Emma and Brittany worked with me for my different services and they were both very nice and did a great job. I would definitely return again!

Our experience at Woodhouse Spa was pure bliss! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and pampered. The atmosphere was serene and relaxing, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We opted for the signature swedish massage, and it was the most incredible treatment we have ever had. The therapist was skilled and knew exactly how to relieve our tension. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and refreshed. Unlike other spas , they also have proper locker rooms to store stuff, change clothes, and take a quick shower. We were also greeted with some wine, hot tea, and light snacks in the nice and quiet waiting room. I highly recommend Woodhouse Spa for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable spa experience.

Very quite and peaceful place! The candles they offer smell amazing and smell clean and fresh. There is a lovely staff team that always make sure to try and assist you in anyway possible.
