Best kept secret hair salon. You don't go there to be "in & out"; you go there because it's part of your lifelong experience. Woon has taken care of my hair for years now. I have a mix of Western European and Asian hair. Sometimes super curly with the season, sometimes very stubborn. Each haircut was tailored to my needs and evolved with my grey-er hair. Most often, I'd listen to his suggestions. His salon is an oasis in the heart of the LES. The music is always on point, and staff is always super friendly.

Kevin and his team are the absolute best. Woon is well run, managed, and does not make you have to sit around for hours waiting for your appointment. Kevin, the owner, has personal artistry so unique that he can get any general idea you may have for a hairstyle and make it unique to your face and your energy. Kevin has often saved me from myself by preventing me from making style choices that could have cause grief personally and personally. I would recommend Kevin to all looking, especially men who need assistance finding their personal style both personally and professionally. For someone as established and in-demand as Kevin is, he makes the experience easy, friendly, and personal.

Kevin's haircuts are individual works of art. He somehow makes my hair look effortless yet chic and sexy with no maintenance required. He lets my hair and facial bone structure speak to him and his skill and eye do the rest. I highly recommend coming in with no set vision and letting Kevin do what's best - enhancing your beauty. The experience during the appointment is surreal. The physical environment is akin to stepping into an oasis off the streets of NY and the service and attentiveness is the best Manhattan has to offer (special shoutout to Mai). Every time I leave Woon Salon, I gain a new surge of self-confidence and refreshing reset to my inner energy. Recently, I've ventured off my usual haircut service to try a soft perm and was not disappointed. As usual, Kevin delivered on hair that was beautiful and breezy. Despite having Asian hair, the perm has lasted for months as of writing this review and makes it look like I have beach waves with an oomph to the volume without looking like I tried or spent any time styling (which I don't!). I highly recommend Kevin to anyone who appreciates beauty and style for a new look and experience you won't forget!

Kevin Woon is amazingly detailed in his haircuts. It's like watching an artist sculpt. He took the time to get my hair just right and never seemed rushed. I've never had my hair lay nicely without putting a ton of heat to it. It's not forgiving and he worked his magic. It feels amazing and has so much movement. I definitely plan on being a regular!

Kevin's haircuts are bespoke. They are amazing the day of and weeks later. He understands hair unlike anyone else.
