I had a one hour foot massage which was wonderful, but the ambience was terrible. All the staff were taking phone calls, talking between eachother, constant loud doorbell ringing, etc. It was not relaxed , quiet and serene as a massage experience should be.

Excellent service. I called last minute because I was having some neck tightness. They fit me in last minute, and were so nice about it. The massage was so professional and talented. Walked out feeling brand new. Clean and warm environment. Price point is more than fair, so please tip! Highly recommend.

After a very long work week I was having shooting neck spasms and limited mobility. I went to this place because I had to wait two days before a chiropractor appointment and this helped so much! This is a Chinese operated acupressure parlor, generally they apply hard pressure to tension points in the body. They offer single or couple massages. The place was incredibly clean and staff was very friendly and approachable. They speak both English and Mandarin, I told them I had a lot of neck pain and stiffness and they really focused on that area with initial loosening, deep kneading, oil, and hot stones! I was so thankful I found this place, my pain was nearly gone after an hour. $72 (including tip) for full body one hour and they prefer cash but do take card. Also appreciated that they have water bottles, fruit and candy for guests!

Incredible experience, very comfortable and clean. I had some very tight knots resulting from PT due to a shoulder surgery a few months ago and was able to walk right in! Will definitely return.

This was one of the more uncomfortable experiences with a place like this before. I showed up for a 60 minute full body massage and it was immediately apparent that the masseuse couldn’t really understand any English. I don’t have the belief that I should be able to carry on a conversation, but the basics of massage communication such as deeper/lighter pressure are important to be able to understand. I asked for half of the massage time to be on my back, and have to be on my front. I thought that she understood this, but she did not. They had an extremely strong scented pillow or something underneath the face hole on the massage table, sand it was so overwhelming and I had to spend half the massage with my head turned to the side. I asked for more pressure three times before giving up, because I specifically came in for a deep tissue massage, but she didn’t seem to understand what I was asking for. Once she seemed I say "I am bad at massage". At one point, she was coughing quite a bit, and ended up opening the door slightly, which made me wonder if I somehow smelled or something. 😳 Despite the language barrier, I think I understood what she was offering when she pointed at my lower half. I declined. The massage ended without me getting any massage on my front, which is where I carry a lot of pain, so I was quite disappointed in this. I had already paid the $60 fee, so I knew that they were going to be expecting a tip. For the first time ever, I left without tipping because I was so irritated by the entire experience. I will never come back here.

Very pleasant and welcoming staff, despite the language barrier. I went in recently because of wicked muscle spasms that developed in my trapezius and paraspinal muscles on the right side. Even though I could not fully describe my symptoms verbally, the masseuse was very perceptive and well versed enough in anatomy to do a fantastic job using a combination of techniques. And she was surprisingly strong and assertive, very much to my benefit ! Thank you ladies.

My wife and I had a couples massage here and it was fantastic. We are in town for a little staycation and we wanted something to fill the gap in our day and they fit us right in the schedule! The staff was welcoming and the atmosphere was calming. The massage was top-notch, with skilled therapists who tailored the experience to us. We left feeling rejuvenated and would highly recommend Xiu Spa for a relaxing couples massage.

I was in town for work and came to get a 30 min foot and 30 min full body massage. They were very thorough and prompt. I was able to walk in on a holiday weekend and feel so relaxed. I will come back.

Best massage I’ve ever had. She didn’t just follow a routine that passed over my knots but made sure to work out the specific problem areas/pressure points when she found them. Never had anyone put that much care into it before

Found this place by google search for massage in Philly and decided to give it a try. I walked in without an appointment and got the 30 minute foot massage/reflexology and it was great! The spa is a small, no frills type of place, but it is clean and the massage was amazing. I thought the price was good for being in the Rittenhouse area.

I called this massage place for my husband. I wanted to do something nice for him while he’s on vacation. I called to schedule and the lady was nice. There was a language barrier on pricing but we got it. I scheduled the 60 minute massage for $60. They didn’t ask for a name or number for booking. She said “just come”, but we did schedule a time. Upon arrival things were clean and nice. When she started my massage it was fine but half way through she kept stopping to answer the door for other customers, answer the phones. It wasn’t what I expected. The experience was ok but they should hire staff for phones and such. I would not come back to this establishment.

Went here on a total whim and received one of the best deep tissue massages I have had in a long time. I take deep to a whole new level, elbows are my best friend, the gal I had could do it with her fingers! I was a challenge for her and tipped well, she deserved every dollar!

no frills, nothing fancy. clean space and they get the job done. they really get all the knots out of my back, whatever it takes. they kindly fit me in at the last minute and let me do 30 minutes of hot stone massage ($40) instead of booking the full hour at times it's just one person staffing, so when i went in the evening she had to answer the door for the next client. but that didn't bother me.

I was a bit skeptical at first because there were hardly any reviews, but please don’t let that stop you!! I purchased a Groupon for a 90 minute massage and facial, and everything was excellent! The place was clean and relaxing, and the staff was very professional and nice! The massage and facial were so great and it was exactly what I needed! I will definitely be returning!!

Took my daughter to mother’s daughter massage date. Had the best massage ever. Highly recommended. Prices are reasonable and clean rooms as well!
