Spent $475 to go from dark brown to this. It was supposed to be balayage but turned out uneven and my bangs look odd. Giving two stars because the stylists were nice but really wishing I had saved my money and gone somewhere else.

It’s a rare occurrence to show a picture to a stylist and get the picture. Chad blew my mind matching requested color to a T. Can literally put my hair to phone pic and it matches, and the cut was Fab-U-Lous! Color(s) requested was dimensional; result exceeded expectations. I’ll be back, and while I’m only here a few months, traveling through for work, I may take flights n chase Chad down from cross country. No joke. The vibe in the salon was great, too, great atmosphere; loved observing ease n freedom to collab, while Lucy is a great hands on assistant. Cant say enough about exceeding expectations. Worth every cent and minute. Thank you Chad, for taking your time, paying close attention to my request, and working your artistry to provide stunning results!

I had my first appointment for a haircut and color consult with Lindsey O yesterday and wish I had found this salon sooner! The atmosphere inside the salon itself is fun and inviting; Lindsey made me feel super comfortable and confident that she knows what she's doing and wants me to love my hair, which I 100% do! I'm very excited to go back for color!

Sara did a great job on my hair! I asked for textured layers and with bottle bangs and felt like she gave me exactly what I wanted. I also got many compliments! Will definitely be back.

This salon is a whole vibe ! I was on a hunt to find someone to color my hair and I found Lindsey on instagram and she has been nothing but AMAZING! My first time there she was gave me a consultation on how to reach my goal. It’s only been a few days since I got my color done for a second time by her and I’ve gotten so many compliments. I am so grateful to have found Lindsey she has literally made me the happiest with the outcome of my hair and my journey!

After trying out several salons in Pittsburgh I came to XO salon and was totally saved by Sarah. Shes taken my over bleached, damaged hair and helped restore the health while still delivering a beautiful range of colors and fun trends. I like to do big hair changes so trust me I am not an easy client but she always delivers better than I even imagined! The atmosphere is so cool and relaxing. You never feel rushed or uncomfortable. The knowledge and creativity of all the staff is absolutely top notch. If you want beautiful style, trends and transformation while maintaining the health of your hair then THIS is the place!

I LOVE XO Salon! So far, I’ve only seen Sara, but she always give the perfect cut, and every single time, the cut grows out nicely. Great highlights as well. The atmosphere is really relaxed and friendly. Even though I’ve only been to Sara, I’ve shared stories with all the ladies there. Couldn’t recommend it more!!

I followed Sam from her previous location and of course loved Natalie's energy from the start as well. Sam has transformed my hair into something I could have never imagined. I came from foils and those god awful skunk stripes to ice queen realness. My hair is probably the healthiest it's been in years and I get bleach/toner done every six weeks. I took the risk of getting hand tied extensions as well with Sam and FELL IN LOVEEEEEE. A girl who has had fine hair her whole life can now braid her hair into a fishtail braid. Let's not mention the fact that I could never grow my hair an inch past my shoulders. Now? It's to the middle of my back. Like I said. She's a miracle worker with my hair. I trust nobody else with my hair. She is the BEST for blondes and color. The recent renovations to the space is GORG as well. The vibe is so fun. Hands down one of the best salons on the city <3

I just went to XO Salon for the first time last month and saw Sara. She did an absolutely amazing job on my cut and color. She freshened up my blonde hair and did black underneath. We did have a situation where the black bled onto my blonde hair, but she let me come back to the salon and she fixed it free of charge. Everyone that works there is so sweet and talented and the salon is so cute! I would highly recommend going here!

I went to XO Salon for the first time a few months ago and couldn't be happier! Lindsey did an amazing job making my hair a beautiful teal with a shadow root. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. The salon is a cool, inviting space and everyone there was super friendly. Can't wait for my next appointment! :)

LOVE Lindsey at XO Salon. She has done fabulous work on my very dark hair. I also have a weird set of allergies that was prohibiting me from dyeing my hair, maybe ever again. Lindsey worked with me for literal weeks to try to find a way to safely color my hair. I’ve now seen her a few times and highly recommended several other friends and sent more clients to her. She’s so sweet and amazing at her job. Just check out her IG @land_of_ozz - if you want color done RIGHT in the PGH area, you will NOT be disappointed.

Like many women, I’ve been to a lot of salons and have had many different hair stylists. Lindsey and everyone else at XO Salon are a breath of fresh air. First, let me say, I love that they charge per hour. I think that model is ideal and fair. Lindsey herself is sooooo knowledgeable. I was so impressed. She always tells you what she’s gonna do before she does and while she’s doing it too. So, no surprises. Lindsey is so talented. Artist and scientist. Chef’s kiss. Here is a picture of the first time I went in. She gave me the silver hair of my dreams with the dimension I was desperately needing. I’ve never left a hair salon feeling better about my hair and like a queen!

Lindsey O has been absolutely wonderful. I was referred by a friend and saw that her Instagram was filled with beautiful work. I like to book haircuts with new stylists first to meet and get to know them and so that they can see my hair and talk about future color. Lindsey helped me not only learn more about the process but helped me step out of my color comfort zone and try something new. The products are amazing and just amplified what magic Lindsey did to my hair. I was ridiculously happy with my new cut and then color and hope to be a long term client of hers for more and more color. The salon is clean and fresh and everyone is friendly.

I absolutely love this salon! I knew I wanted to book with Lindsey when I saw a friend’s hair that she had done. Not only is Lindsey an absolute master of vivid/fantasy colors, she’s also incredible at choosing flattering natural shades and blondeing for her clients. Her work is truly impeccable. One of the things I like the most about her as a stylist is her honesty and dedication to your hair’s integrity. She’s going to tell you straight up how you can get to your goal, and she’ll make sure you look and feel great every step of the way! She’s also super fun to talk to—which is nice when you’re somewhere for awhile! The salon is also so homey and comfortable, all of the people I’ve met have been super sweet, and the aesthetic is to die for. Definitely somewhere that attracts and keeps customers—for a color junkie like me, that is important!

I found Lindsey on Instagram from there I dm her and said I wanted to remove the green in my hair and get some lived in balayage pieces through out she responded really quickly and told me how she would accomplish it even was able to give me a reasonable price range. When I arrived she did a thorough constitutional with me to make sure she understood my vision and then she broke down to me how she was going to fixed the green and give me some balayage she was very gentle with my hair and we had great conversations throughout the whole appointment. I love my hair I got so many compliments best hair salon I’ve been too it is so artistic vibes inside.

After some searching I came across XO Salon’s Instagram page and found my hairstylist, Lindsey. I was so impressed with her work I made an appointment ASAP. I recently was turned on to Lindsey at XO salon by a good friend with gorgeous hair. I booked my consult and we hit it off right away! She's so easy to communicate with and really has a strong eye for color. Lindsey has great ideas about how to make colors work for each individual client. She's wonderful with taking an inspiration and fulfilling your hair fantasies. Very honest, communicates clearly, and she truly revels in helping each guest capture that feeling of being the best version of themselves! lindsey did my hair and she was absolutely amazing!!! i’ve gone through countless hair dressers trying to find the right one, lindsey is perfect!! she did everything i asked for and explained step by step to me. i will not ever be switching hair dressers again! 20/10 recommend this salon.
