Yanin has been my hairstylist for over 6 years, I have nothing but great things to say about her service. She is amazing!! She taught me how to take care of my curls and I would not go to anyone else!!! 100% recommended!! Condescendiente, alzada y carera. De principio no me dolió pagarlos $150, pero al fin bajo mucho el tratado. Automáticamente exije propina y ni lo vale. Le pedí un corte y siempre hizo el mismo. No se la recomiendo a mi peor enemigo. Afortunadamente, encontré mejor tratado y mejor calidad con otra persona. Condescending, aloof and pricey. At first, paying $150 wasn't a problem, but eventually she treated me poorly. She automatically sets a high tip on her card processing app and it's not worth the service.I asked her for a certain cut and she continued with the same cut after cut. I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Fortunately, I found better service and better quality elsewhere.

Highly recommend, very skilled. Yanin is amazing! She put so much effort into my haircut, gave me tons of tips for my curls, gave an amazing cut, and was incredibly kind to my young son who came to the appointment with me. I can't wait for my next cut! All around great experience

Very professional and skilled hair stylist. I moved here and was in need of someone who can cut Asian hair in a flattering way (instead of just giving me a bowl cut). Yanin exceeded my expectations. I realize now that I no longer have to go to an Asian hairstylist to get a good cut. I will come here instead. I haven’t felt this beautiful in many months. Thank you

Yanin did not create small talk to fill the two hours of time together, but rather she asked me several questions about my hair/scalp and my hair-care habits. Yanin listened carefully to my answers without judgment or criticism and instead offered me alternative ways to better care for my hair and stop damaging it in the ways I have been for over three decades. She educated me about high-quality products to use on my hair to bring out its full curl potential, she educated me on how to shampoo/conditioner my hair in a more effective way, and she taught me how to take better care of my scalp. I LOVED that she recommended organic, high-quality products without pushing them on me or making me feel pressured to buy anything from her - they were literally just suggestions that I could take or leave. I walked out of Yanin's salon with the curliest hair I've ever seen on myself . . . she is more than worth her prices as she works hard to conquer her vision during appointments. You will leave Yanin's salon feeling highly educated while having your inner beauty beaming as brightly as your outer beauty!!!

I’d give her 100 stars if I could. Yanin is the best of the best! I’ve been getting curly haircuts for many years from many stylists and none is as awesome as Yanin. I’ve never trusted anyone more with my hair, and her expertise, skill and artistry has transformed my curls. An appointment with Yanin is so much more than a haircut- it’s a lesson in maximizing and caring for your curls. And Yanin brings so much kindness, presence, and attention to everything she does.

We moved to a new place and my daughter had her hair colored. It was awful. Yanin worked her in and completely fixed it and it looks amazing. She truly knows her stuff. She was a true delight. She did a wonderful job! Would return in a heartbeat.

Yanin is amazing!! I’ve had a few curly cuts in the past by a couple different people and they were fine, I am way more impressed by Yanin’s ability and knowledge. I was so tired of having long hair so I told her to cut it short and shape it how she thought best. She did an amazing job and I love my hair now. I can wear it down every day and no matter how I style it, it looks good. Thank you Yanin!!

Yanin is an artist and a rare gem in today's world. You can feel her passion and dedication for what she does - this isn't just a "job", it's her life. She's got soul in the game. I had an amazing curly haircut and learning experience. I've never left a hair salon so happy. I let my hair grow during covid and didn't know what to do with it. Yanin not only gave me the cut I didn't know I wanted, she also taught me so much in that time that I had to take notes. Also, I loved the intimate atmosphere. Thank you, Yanin :)

Yanin was absolutely AMAZING!! We have had several cuts from curly hair specialists for our daughter but Yanin is the first to really educate her about her hair. She took the time to teach her how to care for her hair step by step. We will never go any place else! Taking our other daughter in a couple of weeks!

Yanin was very patient and took the time to explain the whole Deva Curl process. She gave me so much more than a great haircut. She patiently explained how to correctly wash my hair and condition it so that it will look better. Absolutely horrifying experience. I arrived 24 minutes late, completely my fault and I apologized for it. I offered to come back but Yanin started working on my hair. I followed her instructions to completely wash my hair, brush it, and not use any product in it. I dried it as best as possible but my hair is extremely long and thick. She stuck me under the dryer and slammed it on my face as my mask almost slipped off. I told Yanin that I was there for a curl cut and that it was my first time. She asked what products I used and I told her that my shampoo and conditioner of choice was Suave. I am a single mom of 3 that am taking classes while working full-time to support my 3 girls. Yanin's reaction to my shampoo choice was extremely distasteful. I explained to her that I was under financial hardship and that my friend gave me a gift card to spoil myself. I began sobbing under my mask while Yanin ignored me. She went on to suggest that I use a shampoo that goes for $80 for a 32 oz bottle or to use Shea moisture. Again, I tried telling her that I could not afford even Shea products at this time. She proceeded to showing me an app that displays how terrible products are, pulled up the Suave products and their poor review to further prove that my haircare choice was terrible. At one point she found a dandruff flake near my scalp and took a picture of it, stating that my hair had build up which is untrue....She continued to berate me during the entire process. I was devastated and mortified, I've never experienced treatment like this during any salon services. I get better customer service at Great Clips. After she finished, I paid $135 plus a tip. Had I not been late, I wouldn't have tipped her but felt it was the right thing to do. I texted Ms. Lozano after and let her know how I felt, I received a generic apology later on in the evening. Terrible customer service, I wouldn't even go back if it was free.

I received the best curl cut yesterday! This was my first dry hair cut and I was very happy with the results. Yanin was so professional and provided great tips on styling/ caring for my curls. Highly recommend!

Yanin has been my choice of hair stylist for over 5 years. She has taught me so much about my wavy hair, and I've never been displeased leaving her chair. Every time she reminds me when I leave that if i don't like something about her service, that she will make it right. Styling hair is what Yanin does, and I keep choosing her because she listens to my ideas and makes them better. She has lots of experience, but she keeps educating herself about new techniques. She is not the cheapest, but I keep going back because she makes me look my best, she keeps herself and her clients safe during Covid-19, I feel comfortable in her salon, and she has real talent. Yanin is a no-brainer option when looking for a curly hair stylist!!! She is patient, professional, and friendly. I would recommend starting with a consult to get some clarity on what type of cut to schedule afterwards (based on type, length, etc.). You'll get a full education on how to care for and style your curls at home during that first cut... so be sure to arrive ON TIME as every minute will be necessary, especially given the extra care business owners have to put into sanitizing the space between clients.

WHAT AN GREAT EXPERIENCE. I was so lucky to find Yanin to cut my curly hair! I was given a bad haircut by another stylist that didn't know how to cut curly hair and needed a fix desperately. I was scared to have anyone touch my hair after my bad haircut, but Yanin calmed me immediately once she started talking. She is a stylist that CARES about her clients, LISTENS to your opinion and how you want your hair to look, and DELIVERS your best look. She is not a stylist that gives you the haircut that she thinks you need; she gives you the haircut that you want/desire. She also communicates about what she is doing to your hair every step of the way. I greatly appreciate this as I have had too many previous experiences where the stylist snips, thins my hair out by a razor (the worst!), and cuts away hair without asking first if its ok and then does serious irreparable damage. Yanin gave me my first devacurl cut. She spoiled and pampered my hair by using the best products and gives a great scalp massage. She also informed me about how to take care of my curls. Most importantly, I TRUST YANIN and have found my permanent stylist after wasting time and money elsewhere. Your money is well spent with her and your time is not wasted. My advice: book her immediately. Also, her salon is really cute, clean, and comfortable.
