This place is awesome..it was nice to listen to a client talk with the owner bout their kids. ..both are now approaching their 20's..the client have been a customer for more than 10 years!! That says a lot bout the quality of service! My braider was awesome, she handled my thin spot(alopecia) with nooo problem-- felt no tension while she was braiding and no discomfort the next day...I think Yaye & Assy understands that EVERYTHING is expensive but have kept their prices affordable. I think this place will now be my forever ❤️ ♥️ braiding shop. Continued BLESSINGS

If I could give this zero stars I would I’ve been going here for quite some time for couple years and I always paid 150 for micro braids now it’s 180 but besides that I got my hair done just a couple days ago and already I got a bald spots in my head from them breathing way to tight it looks cute and all but I prefer to have hair on my head now I have to sit down here and take these braids down they comb so much of my hair out they are not consider to other people’s feelings I highly do not recommend no one going to them they did it so tight that my hair is looking thin at the scalp i already take the back out now I’m taking out the ones at the top this don’t make no sense why sit there and pay all this money for someone to make your hair fall out I have never had my hair come out at the top part of my head maybe around the edges of my hair has been fine for years and they are the only people that do my hair its all messed up whatever you do stay away from this place it’s not worth one dollar in here if you want to keep your hair on your head I recommend don’t ever go here they seem nice and everything but that’s only just to get your money they don’t care about your hair now before they did my hair may hair was stick at the scalp and if I open up more of my hair you could see were its so tight that the meat is bulging from the scalp from being super tight that’s not how you do customers hair at all i will never go back here places that bring your hair out need to be sued because we pay our good money for them to do our hair and now we got ball spots coming out because they want to braids super super tight you don’t have to braid tight for it to look good and I can bring my own hair but I have so many kids that thats the only reason why I’ve been going here to get my hair done and I might only get my hair done like every six or seven months but that don’t give them the right to have my hair falling out I’m highly upset about this

I wanted curly micro braids, I bought my own hair and instead of the PROFESSIONAL hair braider telling me that was the wrong hair she did my entire head and it looks an absolute mess!!!! Yea I was given a discount BUT that still doesn’t fix the fact that I know have to spend HOURS taking the braids down, yeah they didn’t offer to take them out, then pay someone else all over again for the same style DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL AND KNOW WHAT HAIR IS GOOD FOR WHAT STYLE BECAUSE THE ARE TOO AFRAID TO TELL YOU, That was the reason I was given on why my braider continued to use the hair even though she knew it was wrong, because she was scared! WOW!!!!!

I felt the price was a bit much for the style and the young lady did a beautiful job ..just one thing . It is too danm tight I'm going to need the young lady to loosen up that snatched ya spirit grip .. good lord it's been 3 weeks and my hair is still tight AF ☺️

I got my hair done Tuesday in micro braids and the hair style is simply beautiful, but they braided my hair so tight, I thought I was gonna die in that damn chair! I’ve been getting my hair braided for years and NEVER felt pain like this! I don’t care how beautiful my hair is, I will never go back!

I had a stylist no show my appt and really needed to get my hair braided for an event. Walked into this shop after googling braid shops. They were full and everyone was braiding but in less than an hour they got me in the chair. They did do my braids smaller and longer than I asked but overall I am satisfied with them and will go back for my vacation twists. I will bring my own hair as the hair they use is really itchy. I didn’t like that they allow pushy sales people in the shop pushing you to buy their product while you’re trying to get your hair braided. Overall though, I would use this shop again and recommend this shop

If you have long hair you automatically get overcharged paid 215 just for straight backs and one has fallen out. I’m extremely upset

I give a three star because they didn’t do bad on sons retwist ! But I’m white and he is mixed and we felt out of place when we walked in the door . And the energy was not there. Especially the lady who run it she could had been a little more nicer. We just felt not welcoming. It was definitely off .

They don’t like short people hair people from they country be pubic hair bold and they feed in they hair I full head of hair it’s thick and 4c they said it was to short went to American they did just fine

Its to the point where I don't even look in the mirror when they're done with me! I can barely get home from Yaye&Assy's without someone offering up a compliment and/or asking for the #🤗 been coming for at least 10 styles.

This was my first going through them and getting my daughter hair professional done by far yana is definitely the best I seen in a long time she was very professional and took care of my daughter reasonable prices as well
