I brought my 7-year-old daughter to get a haircut here, and I got a cut at the same time. While the haircuts were fine, I am giving a negative rating because I feel the pricing was deceptive. The website lists that the price for a "Girls under 12 yrs cut" with no styling or treatment is $35+. My daughter had her long hair cut - and about 3-4 inches were taken off. We were charged $75 and it was labeled "women's cut" in their system. I asked about that price and mentioned the website listed a lower price. But I was told that the lower price is only for a trim. And that my daughter got a full hair cut. Let me be clear that there was no blow drying or styling done on my daughter's hair. I was flustered at the moment and even pushed the "tip" button, which I regret now. I never would have come to Yoli's if I thought my daughter's simple haircut would have cost so much. My haircut was also more expensive than I anticipated. The stylist put in an extra charge of $25 for blow drying - but she had told me mid-way through the cut that drying was necessary for the cut. She cut after getting it wet, blow dried, then cut again. I would have assumed there should not be an up-charge for that, and if I had known, I would have also asked for no styling. I had already told them not to shampoo it because of the cost. I think Yoli's hair salon does not have adequate price transparency, and I will never go again.

I’ve never dyed my hair before, since I don’t trust any person with my hair. Silvia was the first person dying my hair and I loved it! The service is 10/10 and the results are just what you look forward too. 🥰 Yolis is also always helping and looking what’s best for your hair results!

I move to Austin 2 years ago and couldn’t find a place to cut my hair, I tried two other option before Yoli’s and it was terrible. I had the best experience here, I got the haircut I wanted and how I water it. I love it ❤️ I am definitely coming back when I need a haircut again!!

After moving from my hometown a couple years ago where I had 2 great hairstylists I had a hard time finding a good one in the Austin area until I stumbled upon Yoli’s hair salon. Having a lot of thick, long and black hair Yoli has been the only hairstylist that hasn’t disappointed me, she is the only hairstylist I trust with haircuts and highlights/balayage. I truly admire her and think she’s a true professional hairstylist…

Bad haircut. Wish I could get a refund to go somewhere they could try to fix this mess. I grew my hair out for four years. And she spent about 3 minutes cutting it and clearly didn't know what I wanted. It's uneven and makes me look dumb. I won't go back My hair didn't look as good as I thought it could have. The salon was empty and it felt like I was ruining her day. Now I have to live with a really bad haircut till it grows out. I don't trust them to 'fix' it

I have been getting my hair cut here since Yolis opened her salon years ago. Haven't went anywhere else since. A place I can get my hair cut, beard trimmed, and all styled at the same time. I have also had my kids haircut here as well. You won't be disappointed. Ask for Yolis!

It is the best place I've taken my 3-year-old son and I like the professionalism when they do their work, all the people working there is very dedicated and attentive to what they do, the main reason why I take my son to this salon is because they have vacuum cleaners in the hair clippers so it does not fall on my son's face and so he is not uncomfortable and crying when they cut his hair, with no doubt more than 5 ⭐️ Es el mejor lugar donde he llevado a mi hijo de 3 años y me gusta el profesionalismo con el que hacen su trabajo, todas las personas que trabajan ahí son muy dedicadas y atentas a lo que hacen, la mayor razón por la que llevo a mi hijo a este salón es por que tienen aspiradoras en las maquinas de cortar el pelo por lo que no cae en el rosto de mi hijo y así no está incómodo y llorando cuando le cortan su pelo, sin duda más que 5 ⭐️

I have been going to Yoli's Hair salon for several years now!! I keep coming back for a reason!! As I enter the salon, I get greeted by a very friendly smiling face!! When I get out of the salon, I look always gorgeous and happy!! Yoli's is fantastic at everything she does, very knowledgeable, professional, uses awesome products, excellent services, keeps her salon very clean and she constantly keeps her beauty knowledge up to date. This the only place in Austin after trying multiple barbers and hair salons that can cut my hair with consistency. I have thick hair and find inconsistency everywhere I have been. Some vists it is good and some visits ok and some visits bad. I have been coming here for about a year and they have been consistent everytime. Yoli is also very accomodating to your schedule. Much appreciated. Thank you!
