Had such a great experience with Chereen! Color corrected a really bad “situation” I walked in with lol and did exactly what I wanted. Was super timely (started on time, ended on time). The salon was also a great private experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Chereen is awesome! She’s super friendly, very responsive, and a great hair stylist. I’ve gone to her a few times to trim my curly hair and she did a good job at not cutting too much off and making sure I kept my length. Recently I decided to do a big chop and she was great at explaining how my hair would differ from the inspiration pictures I had and made sure I was comfortable and sure about how much to chop off throughout the process. I love my cut and am so glad I went to her. Highly recommend.

Chereen is TALENTED! I first went to her to fix my dark grown out roots from a blonde, and she respected my budget by suggesting lowlights instead of a full bleach to blend the color - which she did BEAUTIFULLY! I always have trouble trusting people with my hair, but the result was so perfect it absolutely blew me away!! I immediately went back to her when I needed a cut, and will do so for literally the rest of my life xoxoxoxo

I have been going to Chereen for my haircuts and color since 2015 and I am still a loyal customer because she really is the best! She is great at helping you figure out what you need if you're not totally sure or making your specific hair dreams come true. I highly recommend her for all types of curly hair cuts/styling, and of course, for color and extreme color transformations. It is so exciting that she now has her own dedicated salon! The space itself is super clean, fun, cool, and relaxing to be in; you really feel like you are in a special place. She is such a talented stylist and wonderful person. You will not be disappointed if you're looking for a hair makeover or for regular hair maintenance :)

I love the work that was done here. Erica was my hairstylist, she did an incredible job I am in love with the color we decided to do. I come in with having box dyed hair and leave with these incredible results. Definitely going to go back and I recommend this place to everyone.

This is long overdue review! I could write an essay! First things first Chereen is absolutely a great person! Awesome energy, great customer service! She is very welcoming and pays attention to detail! I had my first silk press and got a Bob cut from her, I was amazed my hair could do what she did with it 😂. My silk press was still as silked pressed as I got it almost 4 weeks after 🥹. I can’t wait to do more styles with her. Everyone wanted to know who did my hair 🥳. YourHairsBestFriend was my best find for January ☺️

Was referred for a color and am so glad I booked with Chereen! I'm usually all over the place with the color I want but I saw that she was patient with me and suggested options for what I was trying to achieve. She asked about my color history and that means a lot to a client that is trusting someone to color their curls. Overall I am VERY pleased with results. She nailed the exact color I wanted. I get so many compliments about my color that I pass on her information so that others can be just as elated as I am. And also the distribution was even, no spotty color, no chunky highlights. Just an organized distribution, and I'm OCD about that. Her and her co-worker were very attentive and careful with my curls. I look forward to the next appointment!

I had a very special event Chereen was able to fit me in last moment. I lost my colorist and had done some silly stuff on my own. Chereen literally transformed my hair it was magical I brought a picture and she exceeded my expectations she gave me hair I didn’t even know I wanted. I really love my hair.

Chereen and Naomi made getting my hair colored and styled a pleasure. I went from virgin dark brown hair to a beautiful ginger color (with care taken to apply color so that it looked natural when it grows out). Salon is such a nice comfy place to be as well.

Chereen is the color queen. I’ve been going to her for 3+ years now and she’s always helped me achieve my dream color without compromising the health of my hair. Extremely pleased with my experience at this salon with amazing staff! The owner & my stylist Naomi were both incredible! So sweet, so attentive, so funny & always kept amazing conversations going! Naomi did an INCREDIBLE job at matching the photo i showed her of the color i wanted! She was extremely knowledgeable & informative of the entire hair color process & the haircut she gave me was the best I’ve ever had! She even trimmed my split ends, she really took her time to make my hair as perfect as possible! I’ve never tipped someone so much in my life & she deserved it!! I have struggled with my curly hair since I was 12 and have hopped from stylist to stylist in the 13 years I have lived in NYC because I was never happy. I am SO thankful I have found Chereen. Naomi from Your Hair’s Best Friend is fantastic! I went in for a full head of blonde highlights. My hair is very fine and after doing an ombré that completely ruined my curl pattern a few years ago, I’d been nervous about getting it dyed again. Naomi really made sure to talk and walk me through getting me the color that I wanted, while also being really careful and gentle with my hair. She took her time with my hair and I love the result! The highlights blended really well together and I think my hair actually looked healthier than before I went into the salon. The salon also has a great vibe, Chereen and Naomi will feel comfortable while you’re there. I’ll definitely be going back to freshen up my highlights in a few months 😌

Naomi was fantastic and patient with me as I figured out what kind of haircut I wanted to get. She listened to my choice and gave fantastic suggestions as to what would actually look good on me based on my features. She took her time and my cut was so well done. I've been getting compliments every single day since she's cut it! The salon is clean and very classic Brooklyn, the way salons were meant to be!
