I could not recommend Yuksel Sahin more! He is SO talented. I have been searching for a hair salon for over 3 years in NYC, and finally happy with my hairdresser. Yuksel cares about his clients and it’s obvious he is very passionate and loves what he does. Thank you so much!!!! So happy with my hair - both the colour and cut!

From short, thin hair to a longer, fuller look with Great Lengths hair extensions, balayage, and a face-framing haircut. The balayage gave me natural-looking highlights, and he listened carefully to exactly what I wanted. He’s a very professional hairstylist and did an amazing job with my hair. I highly recommend him

I have unruly hair -it’s thin and the professional extensions that Yuksel creates for the past 5 years is absolutely gorgeous. He does not do hair, he creates hair. I had haircut - hair color - extensions and my sister loves it here too. Thank you for making feel and look great. You are the very best.

I am visiting from London for a few months and it took me three days to find the most incredible Turkish Hair Salon. I called Yuskel to see if he can squeeze me in on Columbus Day and he kindly found the time to get me sorted before starting his first appointment. I came in for a quick hair cut and blow dry and Yuskel did an incredible job. Yuksel is attentive and listened to what I was after. He sorted me out with a wonderful blow dry to finish off. I HIGHLY recommend. Glad I have found my new hair salon in NYC.

I have been going to Yuksel Sahin salon for 10 years now. Before that, I went to the same stylist for 15 years, but after moving too far, I found Yüksel he is good with my bob hair cut , highlights, he is very good with blonde . I don’t trust anyone only him. I’m so happy with his work! I have very thick hair ,He knows exactly what I want, and over time we’ve built a great relationship. It feels like we’re family now,he knows me, and I know him. The quality of my hair has remained fantastic, and he always maintains the perfect blonde shade and style that suits me. Whether it’s short haircuts, highlights, or maintaining my color, I couldn’t be happier. I will never go anywhere else

I was extremely nervous at first never colored my hair before especially my locs, but Yuksel Sahin made me feel comfortable about my choice to go through with it. The salon was clean and most importantly he handled with care. I will definitely recommend anyone that is looking for star quality to stop by and get your hair done you will not be disappointed, trust me.

The owner has any bad reviews removed and replaced with fake reviews - beware! A few weeks ago this salon scammed me out of over $1000. I posted the picture of my hair after and the owner had the review taken down and replaced with a new fake review giving himself 5 stars. The owner of the salon is a fraud. EDIT: the owner responded and said that this ws due to "maintenance and wear" but this picture is taken 3 days after I got it done, and I have the receipts to prove it. I've also included a picture of the highlights he did for me that I had to have corrected at another salon. the highlights were brassy and orange and uneven. beware!

Yuksel is great guy and talented...made me a platinum blonde rather than just highlights...not brassy at all...stays blonde for several weeks and then touch up roots all need plus haircut....friendly guy professional and has great friends...listens well about what kind of haircut want

A REAL STYLIST AND COLORIST… with one look at a photo he was able to create the same exact look! Very creative in hairstyles and cuts as well! Highly recommend to anyone seeking European quality stylist!

I have been to many hair dressers and have not been able to find anyplace that is good and knows their job. Finally- I am so happy to have found the best one- Sahin Yuksel hair salon! I was amazed at the quality of my hair, haircut and highlights he did. I will 100% be coming back and super happy with my results! Updated 2023 I am 40 years old , my hair is thinning and not as long anymore however the hair growth serums are phenomenal ! All these years later I actually worked at this salon seasonally up until I had my two year old son! my US citizen and married name is CEREN ZORLU 2015 I am a blonde ( not naturally , so natural looking color is super important to me ) ! Also , I have a lot of hair ( and it can easily get out of control) however Yuksel knows how to tame my wild locks :-) I always come in to get my hair color and highlights here ( blow outs as well for special events) ! I have tried many other hair salons and none compare to the greatness that is Sanat Hair ! Love this place ! Walking in you feel right away the warm hospitality as you sit and experience the essence of the art of hair care ! Wether it be color , cut , blowout, or highlights Yuksel masterfully will give you the beautiful results you are looking for ! So go here , treat yourself , feel sexy - why not ?!? ;-) I do !

Yuksel is excellent with color. I had reservations on coloring my greys and he eased me into the process gradually building in highlights and color and my hair looks great. I got my confidence back thanks to his work.

He listened attentively to my request for trimming, and provided valuable suggestions based on my hair and features. He was professional, skilled, and made the entire experience very relaxing.
