Great experience!! I had been having a lot of TMJ clenching leading up to my trip to NYC, culminating in a migraine. Booh. Luckily, I had an appointment on the books. When I came in, the little Totoro let me know I was in a good space. :) They kindly asked me about any recent headaches and if they were migraines and gave me a nice head massage. It wasn't as aggressive as some head/jaw massages I've gotten that were specifically billed as a "TMJ Massage" which I am sooo happy about. It was quite relaxing! Such a great time. If I'm ever in NYC again, I'll be back!

I had the most relaxing facial massage experience with Sayo-san. It was exactly what I needed—calming, refreshing, and left my skin glowing. The scalp massage was so soothing, I even fell asleep. Highly recommend for a peaceful self-care treat!

This place exceeded my expectations. Sakura san is delightful with her head massages. She really dedicates her focus to her clients. ありがとうごあざいます(thank you). I slept so well after my relaxing session with her. I’ve been to other paces before but this place gives the best head massages.

What a wonderfully relaxing experience! This is a Spa where you can truly relax. The place inside is very clean and quiet. Sayo gave me a facial massage that completely relaxed me. She massaged my stiff jaw, shoulders, and neck, making it very comfortable. She is knowledgeable and incredibly attentive to all my needs. I highly recommend Sayo to anyone seeking a great facial massage.

I travel to NY from India atleast 2 times a year and this was my third time at Yuzu ever since I found them on my first visit. This time, I opted for the back, decollatage, face lifting and head massage. Sakura was absolutely great in her technique and I felt amazingly relaxed (even dozed off towards the end of the massage lol). I would highly recommend Yuzu Spa for anyone looking for some relaxation and pampering

I had a great experience here today! Really enjoyed overall ambience of the spa, massage itself was relaxing, medium pressure, and Naoko-san was very friendly and had a very good energy about her. I highly recommend this for people who feel like they hold tension in shoulders, neck and around their head. Also, the instrumental music in the spa reminded me of my childhood in the best way :)

I had a head and eye strain massage with Ami - it was amazing! Ami did such a wonderful job and it was the most relaxed I’ve felt in a long time. I would absolutely recommend Ami and Yuzu spa. I can’t wait to come back here!!!

This is such a fantastic place to relax and recharge! The head massages are so helpful, that I always purchase a package in advance. The massages help with stress, migraines, as well as general neck pain and anxiety. My personal favorites are Naoko and Maki. They are very welcoming and attentive to your needs. The only con is that sometimes you have to wait a couple weeks to get a suitable availability as they are not open late for after-work appointments.

I had an amazing experience! I received a back massage, facial, and head massage from Kim. She was very communicative and sweet. She always asked me if the pressure of the massage for my body and face was okay before she proceeded. She is passionate about her work and also gave me great recommendations on how to take care of my skin. I highly recommend Kim!

11/10. I got the Head Massage + Eye Strain on for $125 with Aki. I'm ready to propose. I'm ready to spend my whole paycheck here. The temperature was perfect, the pressure was perfect, the room was so relaxing and the building was nice and clean. I feel like my brain was cracked open like a walnut, in the best possible way. Will absolutely be back.

I had a 60min scalp massage with Sakura and it was amazing! Sakura was very kind and thoughtful. it was a very nice escape from the city for an hour. Would definitely recommend!

I really wanted to like this place. I weighed whether or not to leave this review, knowing it’s a small business, but felt the need to warn others. I booked a Head and Décolleté massage / add on with Kim. It’s been a week since my massage, and I still have a bruise on my jaw that’s causing me pain. Kim warned me that there may be pain/redness for a few days, but this is much more than that. There’s no reason I should have a bruised face from this. I’ve been in pain for a week and have a protruding mark on my face. Obviously she pushed way too hard. After this experience, I would avoid going here, but if you go, ask them to be gentle, especially on your face.

I wanted to like this place because the lady that serviced me was nice, but it just kept testing my limit. I purchased a deal on Groupon, a few days before my appointment I received a "required (consent) form" to "suggest" that I need to tip at least 18% and they indicated a specific amount in the form. On top of that, they requested signature to agree that I would pay a sales tax of $4, in NYS the beauty tax is 4.5% so $4 is slightly more than what is legally allowed in NYS based on the cost of my groupon deal. I decided to let go and signed the form, and made it to my appointment....my beauty technician was nice and sweet but the service was not what I expected. At this point I was still considering going back to try other services. But a few days later I found out they reversed my cash back rebate. I purchase the groupon deal via a cash back website. Given all of the above, i just feel like this is a very sneaky business and unfortunately I will not be returning for any service.

There isn’t much communication. I had an emergency and could not make appointment and I tried calling but nobody picked up. I was charged despite me trying to communicate the situation. This place is not understanding. I was charged over 100 dollars for what??? I’m so disappointed and hurt by a business that does not seem to understand real life emergencies OUT of my control.

Yuzu Spa has been my heaven on earth for over 5+ years! I was initially looking for a good head massage place given I hold a lot of stress there and suffered from migraines. I have since been a regular customer and tried and loved all their services. Everyone at Yuzu is incredibly sweet and kind and wants to understand how to best support your short - and long-term health. I've had amazing experiences with Naoko, Maki, Aki, Kim, Sakura. I've recommended Yuzu to countless friends and colleagues and brought my mom. I've been going back to Naoko for the last year, and she always asks me how I'm feeling and what I want to focus on. She's helped me with my sun induced breakouts in the summer to my jaw problems with teeth grinding and, of course, reducing migraines from working an office job with long hours in front of a computer. Yuzu Spa is truly my all-time favorite place for relaxation and stress relief! My go-to treatment is eye strain relief since it has a little of everything. The rooms are clean, smell nice, music is gentle and soothing, and services are high quality. Highly recommend Yuzu to anyone!
