Update: 7 years later, this is still the best salon in town. I now see Patience who is a blonding master, she’s extremely attentive and listens to exactly what you want. 2017 - I just recently started going to James at Z Studio and I couldn't be happier! Great atmosphere, incredibly talented stylists, I'll never go anywhere else!

Z Studio is a high-concept salon that I have trusted now for 7 months to maintain my profile photo. Professional and vibrant color and cut, I always feel glamours when I leave. Knowledgeable about quality products, they invest in a great line that offers a wonderful value at a modest price point. No high pressure sales, these products sell themselves if you take them home.

I've been going to Z Studio for a while now (6 months maybe) I usually get a cut and glaze here. I love the relaxed atmosphere and the great customer service. Tori is a fantastic stylist. She gives a great hair wash and comb out. I'm very tender headed, but Tori brushes my hair so gently and washes my scalp with extra care. I'll be making this place my regular hair salon.

My experience from booking to leaving the salon was amazing. The receptionists were so incredibly friendly, and the overall vibe of the salon was 10/10. Tori did an exceptional job fixing a bad haircut I had received from another salon in town. Her consultation was thorough, and she made sure my cut was even and perfectly blended before I left. If you're looking for a great haircut, this is the place to go, and Tori is the one to see. I’m so happy I took a chance on this salon. Highly recommend!

This place was highly recommended by a neighbor. The initial interaction with the receptionist was not friendly nor welcoming but the perception of the salon changed completely as the hairdresser were friendly, attentive and professsionals. Dustin took very good care of my hair needs and even found a same day spot in his busy calendar. My daughters also left happy with their haircuts. Thank you.

I love my hair! I went to Z studio in February and I wasn’t crazy about the color, but I wasn’t very clear about what I wanted. I went back this May and I explained exactly the look I was going for and it was *chefs kiss* perfect! Thanks Z studio! Tori was fantastic!!

Me and my mom wanted two different things she wanted blonde highlights and I wanted a honey balayage but turned out to look the same didn’t get what we asked for just got dark hair with bronze streaks then charges a lot for something we didn’t ask for nor liked

I had an appointment with Summer and she was honestly the sweetest and most caring hair stylist I have ever had anywhere! She was very attentive on what I wanted done to my hair, she always told me what she was going to do before doing it, and made sure I liked everything that was done before moving on. She even taught me ways to style my hair and what products to use that would help the best with what I was wanting. I have never been treated like that in a salon, I usually feel like I’m thrown in the chair and pushed out the door as soon as they can and they would always miss hairs and cut my hair wrong but not here. After my hair cut I got home and went through my hair to make sure there weren’t any hairs sticking out or anything wrong and no it was perfect it’s the best haircut I have ever gotten. If Summer reads this I want you to know thank you so much for giving me so much confidence and you have a lifelong customer!! Oh and the salon itself is a nice building that’s clean and all the products they used smelled really good

I've been to multiple people here and they're always on point. They're great at what they do and the lights are dim so it's a little more relaxing. It does make it harder to see the results of your hair though.

Seems like nearly all new inexperienced staff. I've been here many times before with good results but this time was terrible! Will not be going back. Asked for about an inch off & a little above the ear for my sons & both came back with nearly shaved heads. Also, products used smell about like what a dog groomer uses. not pleasant on a person, to say the least. Would not recommend this place anymore

Update: the more I think about my experience the worse it gets. I honestly don't recommend this salon at all. I've since found a stylist I truly trust with my hair and can't be happier. I feel like this salon hires SuperCut quality stylists and charges a ton to justify the location, not services rendered. I got a service so bad I didn't even trust going back for the correction. 2 stars because it wasn't the stylists fault they assigned her to me without ensuring she had the skills to accomplish the service I paid a deposit to receive. Got partial balayage and a trim less than 24 hours ago. Had no color in my hair before and asked for natural blending. Woke up to this. I will go back in next Thursday for a revision but slightly worried how this can become the style I asked for. 4 stars because service was great, my trim is exactly what I asked for, and the stylist knew I don't use heat so she left the hair slightly damp preventing us both from seeing the errors. Definitely not happy with my current state but they were EXTREMELY accommodating when it came to rescheduling so I have faith it'll look better than this next week.

When I get a short haircut I know that it is hard for some people to do, therefore I am willing to go pay more to get someone with more experience And I let them know this upfront. I showed the pic of what I wanted and I wanted to keep the front longer so I’m just upset that if I’m going to pay this much money to have something done Id rather them just say they can’t do it, I’d even rather them act like they didn’t realize they messed my hair up, but no, this lady chops my hair then apologizes as she is doing it and tells me she is sorry but doing it this way just wouldn’t have looked good, it would’ve looked like u have doggy ears. I guess because she can’t blend it idk so what I don’t like is paying the extra money to get what they think I should get done to my hair. I still tipped her and went on about my day however I just have a lot of past experience with this studio and this is not anything I’ve experienced here before. Just disappointed, the hair cut doesn’t look bad just not what I asked for. So I’m not trying to dog the place and say they suck. I just think $100 for a cut they would do better

Patience is the best! She makes sure she knows exactly what you want to do with your hair before she begins. She is good with long hair. She is very knowledgeable about hair care! And she is great to talk to!

Z Studio and Lauren saved my wedding day. With my hair and makeup stylist was stranded by Southwest, I was left to try to find someone to do my wedding party's hair and makeup the day before my wedding. I was not able to find anyone available to do my updo but happened to walk by Z Studio the morning of my wedding and felt a nudge to go in and ask if they could help. I had about an hour and they worked as a team to free up Lauren who was able to do my Pinterest perfect hairstyle! Thank you Lauren & Z Studio!!
