Worst experience ever. Kept on making comments about my skin, tried guessing my ethnicity, and kept on staring at me up and down and looking at my phone! She doesn’t know how to do eyebrows yall. When I asked for an arch, she said yours are beautiful and I don’t want to touch them - shes speaking for her lack of skill here. I am so glad I didn’t tip her and stopped responding to her nonsense after a very invasive question. I go to parlors to relax not to be interrogated. Will never go here again. Please save yourself some trouble and go elsewhere. Her price for full face threading is $45. I get it done for $30 with awesome customer service and a massage at another place. This woman is a rude ripoff

Don't get a Groupon and NEVER get a Brazilian at this place. She was terribly unprofessional and disrespectful. I've never had a waxing experience that hurt so much, she didn't care and continued even when she saw me cry! She even made fun of me and shamed me. I highly suspect that I was treated this way because of having done this with a Groupon and she even got upset when I didn't tip her! I have had waxing done in European Wax and NYC Sugaring before but wanted to try someone local. Never again.

Best first wax of my life !! Zara was super nice and I used my Groupon voucher. She was super fast and nice couldn’t even tell I was getting waxed she moved that fast. Lol I found my new wax lady! 🩷good work Zara girl!

scammy mcscam scam! y’all i’m so serious do NOT buy a groupon for this place, this lady will find AAAANY excuse to not honor it. if you’re unlucky you’ll get a wax and a light shaming and pay full price. if you’re lucky you just get the shaming and be turned away, get a parking ticket more expensive than the groupon you bought, and will need to embrace the bush.

Zara does a great job with my eyebrows; however, twice now that I’ve shown up during the hours of operation and the door was locked. The first time I waited long enough for her to appear, but today I did not. Not sure I can keep gambling on whether she’ll be there or not.

Great experience here today, walked in on a Sunday afternoon little to no wait time and she got me in and out in under 10 minutes plus my eyebrows look great now. Ive never been threaded that fast in the 10 years ive been getting threaded. Definitely coming back!

Just got back from a wax at Zara salon and was so pleased with the cleanliness of the salon and the technician’s great personality. I arrived early and she had me out before my appointment time! I found the salon via Groupon and will be returning.

Worst customer service experience. I called the Google maps number to schedule an appointment for a Brazilian with a Groupon. She told me over the phone that the deal is only available on Sundays which is not listed on the terms of the Groupon. She proceeded to tell me that I could come in Saturday and use the Groupon even though I did say I could come in on Sunday for the deal. When Zara starts my wax, she tells me she has no recollection of me making my appointment and I called somewhere else saying she didn’t recognize the number. The service itself was really fast which was nice but there was a lot of residue wax left that I had to clean up at home. When I was paying, she tried to charge me the $35 new customer fee instead of redeeming my Groupon. I called the number in front of her and it RANG to her salon phone. She still denied taking my call and said her receptionist who left earlier that day took it and didn’t write me down in her books. I was able to negotiate just being charged $20 and trading in the Groupon instead of coming again to redeem it. Another customer while I was there was also complaining about her not being in the salon for her appointment when she came in another day. Nice lady just needs to be more organized with her business…

She was utterly rude and unprofessional. She said she only took Groupons on sundays & only one Groupon per Sunday. She then proceeded to argue with herself over the phone since she never let me speak. She’s called me back after I ended the conversation to continue the rant. Highly disappointed. Definitely deserves 0 stars

I have been going to Zara for over a year now. I get my eyebrows threaded and I see her for waxing. She is the best. She is fast which makes the waxing a lot less painful and she is very kind. Her salon is also very clean and I highly recommend her.

I made an appointment by calling and she said to come in at 11. Did not even ask my name or anything. I also specified I had bought the Groupon deal and she said that was okay on the phone. When I arrived at 11, the lady at the front said she doesn’t take Groupons anymore and I got a little upset because just the day before she said it was okay. Then she told me I had to wait for other customers even through I had a appointment but she said since I did not pick up the phone that she canceled my appointment when she did not leave any voicemail or anything?! She proceeded to get sharp with me and say she wasn’t in the wrong. I should never be treated like I just was. I did everything I could to be nice and understanding but how am I supposed to pick up a phone call when no one leaves voicemails because “she didn’t feel like leaving one”. I get dozens of calls a day. She was utterly rude and unprofessional.

I’ve been to Zara several times and could not speak more highly of my experience! She knows what she’s doing and is very kind and personable. Her prices are super reasonable and she often has packages/deals on treatments!! I really enjoy going to her and would recommend her to anyone. Not too painful :)

My waxer is amazing! She is very professional and she makes the waxing process as painless as possible. She also gives great instructions on after care. She also has a great deal of 4 Brazilian waxes for $125 which is a steal!

Zara is always pleasant and I have been coming for years. I moved to the south side but still I like to stop by. She is very quick but still professional. Her salon is clean and I enjoy our conversations. She really values loyal customers and she offers other cosmetology advice.
