Being here was a 5 🌟 experience from start to finish and I'm so glad I randomly stopped in for a haircut this afternoon. Two months ago another stylist from a different salon thinned out my hair and I'm trying to grow the layers out. I passed by this salon without having read the reviews; I just had a hunch this might be a great place because everything here looked so beautiful and stylish and I felt an intuitive vibe to stop in. Joseph welcomed me in with my dog and he patiently listened to my goals. He decided to take my v-shaped layers and cut the style into u-shaped layers to give me more volume and add more weight to my haircut. I completely trust him to continue on with my long hair goals and will be a loyal customer from here on end. I don't trust many people because I've had many negative experiences and surprises; but Joseph actually knows what he's doing and I have crazy, frizzy wavy hair that most stylists seem to mess up. He took his time shaping my hair into a better cut and then blew dry everything straight for a different look. I even received a compliment today from the owner of a bubble tea shop I frequent often. He said I look so much younger 😭 There's nothing like finding a stylist who cares! Thanks again Joseph-- I'm so glad you had a last minute cancelation and had time to fit me in today! I'm going to add one last paragraph...so I've been wearing my hair curly for two weeks and I'm feeling a bit disappointed at how much length I actually lost now that my hair shrunk up and there is no real shape or consistency to my natural wave and curl pattern. I'm going to wait 6--8 months before getting another cut ✂️ because I really hate short hair and the shag I actually used to have at least was more feminine. I don't know why but it's like one side of my hair is longer and fuller than the other. I had to adjust the front slightly too. I think it's going to take some time before my hair looks longer again 🤔

I've been going to Joseph for about a year now and he is the best. I'm a guy with short wavy hair and he just knows how to make it pop like nobody else in the city.

Joseph is a master stylist. I have been a client for at least 15 years. He is remarkably talented with scissors. A precision cut is his expertise. One of his great cuts is complimented from day one until the day of the next cut, whether that's 6 weeks or 4 months. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair.

This is the hair gem of Broadway! Joseph definitely knows what he's doing!! Gave my partner and I a great haircut and color! He's so nice and friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. So give him a call for great looking hair. Also a big shout out to fabulous Coco

I love Zelaz! I have been going to Joseph now for over a year for highlights and cuts - and I always leave thrilled with the results! Everyone in this salon truly cares about the client's needs and preferences - all the while keeping hair health as priority. I wouldn't go anywhere else, thank you Joseph! Plus, his adorable puppy Coco is almost always at the salon! :)
