Awkward little place. Recently went in for a couples massage with my wife here and probably not going back because of the actions of the awkward “man” at the front did to us. English is not their first language which is not a problem and the massage was okay, the hot stones felt relaxing but at the end of the massage the awkward “man” in the front said to me “cash or card?” even though i walked in with an already-paid-for groupon on my phone and after that he became demanding for a tip and when I decided to say no and not leave a tip; he further displayed very immature behavior trying block me and my wife from leaving and attempting to make a loud scene in a small space in front of another couple for no reason and the workers. Personally I would’ve taken him outside and put him to sleep but me and my wife had things to do after. Congrats man u permanently lost 2 people over a tip dispute🙏🙏

As you can see by my other reviews, place rarely get five stars. Helen was my massage therapist. I had slept wrong or what ever a couple of nights before. Usually I can get that handled on my own. Not this time! Helen was was able to get in there and work out the kinks up and down my body. Amazing! I went for a longer massage and it was so worth it.

I had an amazing experience, they are very experienced and I honestly felt brand new after my 50 minute massage. My left hand has been in pain for 3 weeks followed by weakness but after my massage I am pain free and loving it. I will definitely be back

Had a massage here today and I am so happy I found this place. The price was reasonable and the 90 minute massage was fabulous. The technique, the pressure and the skill of my masseuse was top notch. I scheduled my next massage same time next week.

This is my second time coming here and come from the bay it was hard to find a good massage. 1st time was with Owen's I think and his hand omg . 2nd time was with lily, sorry for the snoring lol. However her had that touch, I will be back again and again. I was treated very well each time.

During the weekend, I was visiting a friend in Sacramento and found this place. I received a fantastic massage from Helen. She is very skillful and know her stuff. My lower back is feeling much better now! Thank you Helen and Zen massage!

Fantastic experience. Very thorough massage. We did a couples massage and felt so relieved and relaxed after! They could feel where we needed extra attention and focused on those spots. On top of that, we got our first cupping session which was an experience in itself! Would definitely come back.

Stopped by for a drop-in after looking around. I have been extremely sore from going to the gym and needed a massage. The staff here fit me in as a walk-in even though they were in fact busy. The masseuse was great, very strong hands, worked out many knots, and knew exactly where tight or uncomfortable muscles were. It was a little painful at times but what I needed. She was very accommodating, if it was too much you just speak up. Prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you need some work! They accept cash or card ($2 fee for card)

Another wonderful massage experience at Zen. The new owner is masterful and very skilled. Helen, hit all the right pressure points 60 minutes of bliss at a very reasonable price. The renovations and new ownership really does it justice. Thank you, Helen.

My first but not last visit. Wonderful experience! New Owner, Helen, was very professional and kind. Great massage. Studio very clean, inviting and warm. She is a true healer. I will be back soon and highly recommend Zen under this new ownership!

Good massage! They speak little English, but they know their techniques! Good pressure. I may have gotten the owner because she had to leave 3 times during my massage to help customers, that's my biggest complaint. Overall good massage.

Went here a couple of weeks ago for a couples massage and both my gf and I loved it. When they asked how hard I wanted the massage to be, I ofc went for the hardest and that was probably a mistake. When the they saw that it was too much for me to handle, they asked if I wanted it to be softer. And it was a lot better after that. The hot stones were also amazing. My gf loved the experience as well. We will probably be coming back soon

2 visits for a couples massage and it has been amazing both times. They really know what they are doing. I've had two different people work on me and they are both equally as great. After having multiple massages around town and dating a massage therapist, I have a good idea of what I need and Zen Massage delivers.

I’ve been here a few times and feel like it’s time to leave a review. My first time was pretty awkward given my boyfriend and I showed up for our couple’s massage and the woman who massaged me kept leaving midway through to talk to customers at the front, coming back to complain to me that we took their spots (?). Despite this odd experience, we gave it another chance because she gave us a discount for the next time we came in. I came in alone for an hour-long full body massage and similar to other reviewers, felt like my masseuse didn’t have a strategy/seemed to just rub on my back then dig in with his elbows. It wasn’t relaxing and he neglected my feet. At the end of the visit, the front desk lady looked over my shoulder to see how much I tipped which was inappropriate. Overall I found this business to be unprofessional and would not return.

This is my second visit to Zen Massage. I’m glad I found this place. Fairly recently opened and in a great location. Safety is first on the agenda, on the way in and when inside. The massage rooms are clean and give a calm appearance.The sheets are white and clean. The massage table is warmed, as is the oil for certain parts of the massage. The style is def East/West Thai. First part, face down, the therapist works on you over the sheet, stretching, pressuring, preparing your muscles. Part two involves oil onto your skin. The therapist works carefully into your muscles, from neck to feet. Part three. Hot stones. The therapist leaves the room to get them, and will leave the room to return them to storage area for cleaning. These feel wonderful on the skin. Stones will be left on certain parts your body to continue their work applying deep heat to those areas. Face up. Therapist begins with your head, face and neck - wonderful! Rest of body to complete. Hot towels to cover your back and remove any oil. Take your time to get up from the table, enjoy those final relaxing moments. I've had Peter both times and he is a skilful therapist. I will definitely return when I am in the area.

I’m not one to leave reviews… but I am genuinely trying to save people from going to this place. I purchased a couple’s massage on Groupon and not only did the masseuse guilt trip us for using it, but they also proceeded to force us to tip upon leaving— and as I was sending the tip they wouldn’t stop asking if I sent it yet. The massage was honestly the worst I have ever received. I felt like I got jumped afterwards and was sore for the next week. The masseuse asked what kind of pressure I wanted and I said medium— thinking that’s what it would be— but she proceeded to use the roughest pressure I’ve ever felt in my life. There was no technique used, just an extremely rough motion in the same area for half an hour. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for an actual relaxing massage. I genuinely hope they teach their masseuses real techniques and stop using Groupon if they’re just going to complain to guests about it… that’s pretty unprofessional. Anyways, I hope this helps someone. 😭

Zen Massage offers an excellent experience . We went here last week for a couples massage and it was very calm and relaxing. Jo Jo and her colleague looked after us very well. We will definitely be back.
