The owner seems nice. But I got an employee for my pedicure. She injured 3 of my toes and said "no big deal". It is to me and my toes still hurt 3 days later. I had been there in the past but quit when I was injured twice. But decided to give them another try. Not again. Also I was charged $45 for a Basic pedicure and no polish. On the website it's $37.

I'm a 43 year old male and have never before had a mani pedi. Today I went to Zen Nails for my first time ever and had an amazing experience. Highly recommend getting the paraffin wax!

I live right by here and have never been in. So grateful I did today (on a whim)! It's a very clean, organized, nice space with very kind staff. Jonah was my technician who gave me a pedicure, manicure and eyebrow waxing. Jonah was completely meticulous with the services. I highly recommend going here. I will be back!

I really wanted to like this place because everyone is so sweet, but with the prices being kind of high it is just not worth it. I never left completely satisfied and always left with cut fingers and cuticles. My cuticles would be so red it hurt to wash my hands for days later. Honestly no need to cut them. When filing my nails she would always slice at least one of my fingers, never fun to deal with. Ive heard the owner is really good, so unless you get her I would find somewhere else.

Since 2011 I've been getting my nails done by Katelyn and gel pedicures by My at Zen Nails. Yep, 2011! This is the only shop I've ever gone to in Portland because I'm always happy with the end result and enjoy my experience. ( See my photos!) I recommend making an appointment and arriving on time! You will get the best service this way. Even though I haven't lived in St Johns since 2019, I continue to go here because I enjoy visiting with Katelyn and love the way my nails look EVERY time I leave. Highly recommend!!!

Super friendly and clean, there’s no argument there. And I was able to get same day appointment. I went in with a design (it will be pictured below) I wanted black dip powder with white snowflakes, the lady there said ok (I assumed she could do as the picture) she was super welcoming and nice by the way, well as we are almost done with my nails she asked me if I wanted just black and I said yes but with the snowflake design, she informs me that she couldn’t do the design that it was to hard for her 😭 I said ok, she said I could come back tomorrow (I was on my lunch break from work), I was going at first and she asked me what time I said 1pm like today, she said ok and then she said 3pm. I then opted out of getting the design all together, I didn’t have an available time other than 1pm tomorrow 😭 I got my eyebrows waxed as well and my total came out to $85!!!!!! To me that was a little pricy, that’s what I would normally have paid with the design. So I feel like I was a little overcharged and my nails could’ve been a little better. I will most definitely be returning for my eyebrows and maybe a pedicure but not for my finger nails. The energy was great, she cleaned my nails really good, just a little to pricy for me. Edited: it is now 12/23 and my thumb nail broke changing out remote batteries last night (12/22). I changed the rating 😭

This is my go-to spot for nail fills in St. John's. The owner Katelyn does a fabulous job and her artistry is unmatched at such reasonable prices. The space is clean, friendly, and accommodating. I always leave satisfied and cared for. They deserve more than I could ever tip!

They are the nicest salon, I loved the ladies who work there, service was amazing, fantastic massage, Will be bringing all of my friends They did a color dip on my natural nails yesterday and repaired a very damaged broken nail that had split from work with an acrylic tip and it blended with my natural nails so nicely. I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate the service and quality

i had an amazing time here getting a gel manicure!! the nail tech was efficient, attentive, and gave me a gorgeous manicure with a little surprise bit of nail art we negotiated at the end! and it was a great value for the service i received. my dry cuticles in this picture are my own fault… they looked perfect when i left the salon!! i will be back for sure.

I’ve been going to Zen nail over 10 years now. They are great, and Kaylynn made sure to keep customers updated during the lockdown in March about opening back up! She is very good at keeping customers updated on COVID restrictions!

Nails not worth their price. Messed up my daughter's nails, crooked and polish was super thick. Would not recommend for nails unless you ask for kaitlynn.
