Just moving here from out of state I was looking for a new nail technician. My last shop in Texas was amazing very technical and on point. I only use black acrylic powder. I needed a fill in and a pedicure. The lady that did my pedicure was nice enough but as you can see in the picture the gel polish doesn't even cover my whole toenail. An extra $20 for nail polish that does not even cover your whole toe nail. I also came home and used my pumice stone in my shower and got more done than the pedicure that I received here. Still trying to be in good spirits my nails were started while in the pedicure chair. The lady doing my nails was absolutely not concerned with what she was doing with my nails at all She was very concerned and interested in the conversation that she was having. She literally destroyed the beautiful set of nails that I walked in there with and just needed to fill in. I was also told after she sawed on my nails that they did not have black acrylic only black dip powder. I told them I did not want dip powder I wanted black acrylic That's what I said when I walked in the door But now I'm in the situation of having my nails half salt off I'm being told that they only have black dip powder. Literally being forced into proceeding. How's the girl is trying to use dip powder as you would acrylic it is lumpy it's messy it's all over my fingernail and it's just a hot hot mess. All right at this time don't say anything because maybe it's part of the process. Pedicure is now done and the other lady is still trying to use this dip powder like an acrylic and is still making an even bigger mess all over me my nails her literally EVERYTHING. Now she begins her sawing process Yes that is literally what it felt like she was sawing. I was in complete shock whenever she told me to go wash my hands. Looking at this disaster I asked her if she was done and she said yes for me to go wash my hands. I said okay and looked at all of it and told her that this was completely unacceptable this was messy sloppy and honestly trash. She then proceeded to tell me Oh she wasn't done let her finish. This happened another three times. On the fourth time I told her this is not acceptable I had been there for over 3 hours and I needed to go. At that time I was told a gentleman who was midway through another full set of nails would fix for me. After waiting an additional 30 minutes for him to finish the set that he was working on. He asked me what he could do to make my nails better I showed him how none of the nails were the same. Some nails are flat others are lumpy there's bumps in them besides were not clean the back end next to the cuticle was bleeding into the cuticle I had product on my cuticle and my finger I went into all of the details of why this was not a good set of nails and he told me that he would fix that for me and make it perfect. After watching him saw on one hand I asked him to stop I look at him tell him it's okay I have to go It's not about the money I'll pay it but I have to go. He told me no worries he was almost done. He continued to mess with my nails for another 45 minutes when he asked me what I thought I told him again this was not acceptable. So after stepping into the shop that was completely empty for a pedicure and a fill in I walk out 3 hours and 45 minutes later I received a $5 discount a set of b******* nails and a worthless pedicure. Lifting nails within 24 hours have lost two nails within 48 hours. I remember when the chop shops used to turn out good nails back in the days avoid this place at all cost cuz it's going to literally cost you. I highly doubt the owner or the manager of the shop will respond to this review but if they happen to talking about let us make it better .... I don't believe there's a license technician with the capability to do the type of nails it is that I pay that type of money for That works in this nail shop. Do better!! You're holding people hostage and stealing their money! *UPDATE* 6 days later not 1 nail left on my hands. The last picture is MY WORK I did at home 💀

Customer service came off very rude . Nails or thin , no cuticle oil or lotion for a full set that was $43 . Will not recommend or visit again .

I love coming to Zen nails and spa!! The ladies always remember a face and are so excited to see you again. They always bring up convos from my previous visits and give great customer service. I’ve never left unsatisfied with my nails and they are very versatile. I’ve gotten my natural nails, acrylics, and designs and they never disappoint. Great for the pricing as well !!!

Once a reliable shop for a mani-pedi, the quality of the services have nosedived. The sets could last 4-6 weeks with growth being the only reason to get new service, whether dipped or acrylic. They do not last a week. Fixes were needed immediately, as cracks showed in the dip mani within a day. Within a week, one nail completely broke, injuring two fingers and causing one to bleed. Saigon Nails in Gretna fixed them, noting the original tech has been using less product than necessary, resulting in dangerously thin nails which can cause serious damage with day to day use. The pedicure was uneven (layers were noticeable) and chipped quickly, using regular nail polish. Regular nail polish is my usual choice and had no issue in the past, as long as it dried before leaving the shop. But they prefer you to get gel (more expensive), and it seems the application is less attentive without it. Instead of redoing them once again, they covered it up and added clear paint last, Which did not address the layered issue especially on the big toes (up close, it looks like waves crashing ashore). I no longer get the gel or acrylic due to the u v light hurting my hands for days after, which seems to be the only nail service they can stand by (and, of course, it costs the most), but the pain and inconvenience of poor, cheap application erased years of good service. This is the second time in a row I've had poor service.
