Couldn’t recommend this spa enough! I have hormonal acne prone skin and they have been so attentive and helpful. Extractions hurt SO bad but worth it. Definitely try them out.

Been going to Zen at least for the past 10 years now. Love it here, great quality spa products that smell awesome and leaves your skin glowing. Phyllis does a great job with facials: she thorough but really is gentle when necessary. She knows her skin treatments from the inside out and can let you know what it is that you need to be rescued. Good communication, very accommodating, and always on time. They are clean and very organized and you never feel rushed!

Had several facials and every time it was amazing! The girls are so sweet, professional, and the atmosphere is very relaxing, clean, and quiet. They genuinely care about your skin! I have acne prone skin and their facials are amazing for ANY skin type. I bring my younger brother who is a teenager dealing with acne and I bring my older mother who gets a skin tightening facial. They have it all!!! Definitely recommend.

I've been getting my facial at Zen skin spa for a few years now. They are really the best in every way. The quality and the result of the facial worth every penny. It is somewhere you feel like you can trust when you walk in. The room/bed is super clean and cozy. Temperature is always at a conformable level. The environment is quiet and relaxing. I always like to try their different facials. Every one of them is unique, but they all produce optimal results. I like to get alpha hydroxy facial when my skin feels dull. It makes my skin glow instantly. I also love the diamond dermabrassion facial, GuaSha facial, youth light and brightening facial. They help replenish my skin, make it so smooth, firm and glowy. I find it effective in anti-aging. My favorite part of the facial is massage. It feels so good and so relaxing. I love that I get a lot of massage on my face, neck, shoulder and arm. They really give their 200%. Alice and Jenny are amazing. They are also very thorough in extraction. My skin is able to absorb face cream better each time after deep cleaning. Additionally, Zen skin is very detail oriented and they really take customers' feedback to heart. I like that they use warm cotton to clean my face as I don't normally use cold water to wash my face. I also enjoy the upper body massage during the duration of facial mask. The warm towel they put underneath my neck really helps release tension. The little things and the consistency here make Zen skin stand out.

Ive gotten my first facial last Friday and my skin has been amazing since. I really cannot wait to come back after i give birth. They were very helpful and attentive and made sure i was okay since i went there at 36 weeks pregnant. I’ve been to many facials before at other places but this place has left my skin so much brighter and healthier. Definitely recommend, can’t wait to come back.

The most peaceful, professional, clean, detailed experience I have ever had. Zen skin spa is so unique with technique, you can tell with the application/ facial massage that every esthetician knows what’s they’re doing. They also follow up! You know that they really care about your skin, not just during your appointment but what you do and use at home!

This salon gives the best service you could ever ask for! I had Phyllis and Jenny for my facials and they always do an amazing job. It’s the most relaxing time and I always look forward to coming. On top of that, the products they recommended for me leaves my skin glowing and feeling flawless. I will forever be a client here!!! Go book your facials with them. You will not regret it.

I'm so happy this place is back open. This is my go to spot for facials. They are clean, professional, so relaxing, and is a hidden gem in Philadelphia. I love Zen Skin Spa. It is easily the best facial in the city. If you have not been, you should definitely treat yourself!

Jing is absolutely the best lady around. To back track, until the age of 24 my skin was near perfect. I had texture but it wasn’t enough to bother me. I went to boot camp and the intense physical training paired with a lackluster skin routine destroyed my skin. I eventually got hit with cystic acne as well. (My father had it earlier in life). I went to an esthetician in North Philly but wasn’t getting the results I wanted for the price I was getting. I then looked closer to work and found zen skin spa with just the right prices and saw others who had cystic acne have success. I used to HAVE to wear a hoodie so I could cover up my jawline of huge bumps and makeup couldn’t hide it either. I can confidently say my HUGE cystic acne is under control, maintenance is needed but I feel overly more confident than ever before thanks to Jing. Also, the team leader Phyllis is awesome, truthful, and accommodating. Side note, pain is beauty and so worth it!

On 2013 I been here for my 1ers Facial that was awesson experience that made me recover my vision and for 3 month I didn't use my reading 👓 By the time I continue to use this service, But couples days ago I went for service with Mss. Jimg Wu who gave me my firts treatme and clear my vision again , This Service meet my expetation; I'm so glad to get collagen tratment was great job and great results for these result I'm highly recommeded😉😉😉 🌟🌟 🌟

Vivian did very well with my skin I went because i have had a flare up before and literally after leaving them i havent had one in soooo long I still go once a month even if i have to for a express facial just to keep my skin clean ❤️

I have horrible cystic acne that flares up here and there due to the lovely fact of me being a woman and when my hormones are well, hormonal, I want to cry due to my inflamed skin. I tried everything. I eat correctly, avoid processed foods, don’t touch my face — etc. I was at my wits end until I was recommended here by my baby sister and Zen Skin Spa is now my sanctuary in the busy city of Philly. Vivian is my fairy skin godmother and the moment I walked into my skin session, I knew Vivian was serious about skincare because her skin is BEAUTIFUL. She was honest with me, saying how painful my extractions can be due to me not getting a facial for decades but wanted to let me know that if I needed a break, she would stop which I think is so sweet of her, especially when I was cringing in pain, Vivian stopped and asked if I wanted to keep going. She just doesn’t tell me to deal with it which is so kind of her. She also gave me tips on how to cleanse my skin and gave it much TLC and recommended me to come back in two weeks and honestly, hours later after my session, my skin looks amazing. I truly recommend Zen to anyone. It’s affordable and they don’t try to up-sell you anything. They truly want you to see results and feel good about your skin. This establishment has been here for over twenty years and Vivian has been there for ten years so she knows what she’s doing.
