TLDR: Zippy is a quality Cosmetologist who is very knowledgeable when it comes to hair health. She genuinely cares about her clients & their hair. Her Salon is clean, comfortable, secluded in a relaxing way & she always has snacks & water which I love. We should all care for our hair health like we do our physical health & that’s why I see Zippy. Quality work from a qualified stylist. ********************************* I first went to Zippy back in 2022 & haven’t sat in another stylist’s chair since! I have received a Big Chop haircut from her, box braids, senegalese twists, a beautiful slicked back extension ponytail, feed in & stitched corn row updo ponytails, & crochet faux locs.We have had quite the hair journey & she is now helping me on my loc journey-which I was afraid to start due to the stigma locs have for appearing messy or unkempt. Let me tell you! I’m still only 4 months in & I have 0 complaints & many compliments. Zippy will ensure your hair is healthy & you leave happy. She puts so much dedication into her clients styles & she’s well versed in a HUGE variety of different styles & will even help you create a one of a kind style for you. Since my big chop in 2022 my hair has grown back longer, thicker, & healthier. She is a quality Cosmetologist with a wealth of knowledge who REALLY cares about her clients & their hair.

I got my starter locs, haircut and scalp treatment with Zippy. She is my go-to person for all things hair. Zippy is great at her job. She creates a welcoming environment for her clients with water, snacks and music. She also gives personalized education about my hair and updates every appointment. She explains hair care well and provides great service.

I can’t say enough good things about Zippy. This was my first time going to her and she took the time to make me feel comfortable and explain every step of the process. I am 6 months post big chop and had questions about products and techniques and she happily taught me so much. I’ve been getting braids since 6th grade (almost 30 now) and this was the best braiding experience I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back.

Very sweet and accommodating. Zippy took me as a same day appointment on a Friday for a wash, trim and some cornrows I needed by the next day and she did her thing! Very nice, professional, talkative, went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. She let me know every product she was using and why. I’m so happy with the service I received and will definitely be back.

Zippy is very excellent at what she does. She is knowledgeable about what she does and talks you through every step. I've been blessed to have her makeup services for my special occasions and I must say that the make-up lasts longer without any caking. She is very friendly and positive to be around.
