Shanna is awesome! I originally went to her in February, then waited for my hair to grow. Went back a few weeks ago and she gave me a cute, sassy haircut! 2 weeks later went back for color. I had not had salon color since before covid. It looks fantastic! Her salon is very relaxing and you get the added benefit of her sweet dog, Rocco!

I told her what I wanted and she did it perfectly. The salon is also so relaxing and she gives the best hair washes. 110% recommend!!

Loved this salon! I have always struggled with finding someone who would cut my hair exactly how I want it since my hair is very fine and hard to work with. 10/10 recommend trying here if you’re looking for a new place. Also very reasonable pricing :)

Over the past year or do, I've been on a mission to find a hairstylist who can turn my hair dreams into reality.. It's been a rollercoaster of wrong cuts, wrong colors, and just plain hair disasters. But hey, hair grows back, eventually, and I'm not one to give up so easily. So, like a hair warrior, I stumbled upon Zluna Salon and thought, "Why not give it a shot?" Armed with an arsenal of random hairstyle pictures, I walked into the salon, pointing at my own hair like a deranged magician. "I want that top," I said, jabbing at my locks. "And those bangs!" I exclaimed, as if my forehead was hosting a circus. "Make it longer at the bottom, but with that snazzy layer thing going left instead of right!" I added, gesticulating wildly. Oh, and let's not forget my request for volume without turning my hair into a crispy haystack. Sound familiar? Now, here comes Shanna, the fearless Owner/Stylist of Zluna Salon. With the patience of a saint, she listened to my hair-induced madness, asked a few clarifying questions, and then unleashed her scissor-wielding magic. And guess what? Drum roll, please... I ended up with the exact hair cut I had envisioned in my slightly unhinged mind. It was perfect! Cue the standing ovation for Shanna! But wait, there's more! A few weeks later, I sauntered back into Zluna Salon, ready to take on the world of hair coloring. Armed with an abundance of confidence, I pointed randomly at my current hair color and launched into an explanation of why it made me want to hide under a rock. And you know what? Shanna, the hair whisperer, somehow understood my color woes without needing an interpreter, and once again, my mind's eye came to life with the perfect hair color. I wanted to freshen up my look with a cut and color, but I don’t often color my hair so I was not sure exactly what I wanted. Shanna was so kind to fit me in during the busy holiday season, and helped me figure out exactly what my hair needed color-wise. I love my highlights, and loved spending time in the shop. Meeting Rocko was a plus too! I’m so pleased with my hair, and will definitely be back!

Shanna is AMAZING! I came in with such a mess in my hair due to putting henna in it, and she spent all day getting it back to looking normal. I really can't recommend her enough and she is my hair angel for being able to fix my hair. She truly cares about the integrity of your hair and making you happy. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair now, and I will be a customer for life!

I cannot express how wonderful Shauna’s coloring and highlighting skills are! I’m a redhead, so there’s a particular balance that needs to happen. She has always gone above and beyond to make me happy. Interestingly, after 5+ years as a client, she’s never disappointed me!

Okay, first, this is not a salon I would have gone to on my own. However I was in the market for a new salon and they ran a Groupon so I figured why not? It’s not in a very affluent part of town and I’m not going to lie, when I pulled up to it, I was a little nervous. However, this place is the embodiment of “don’t judge a book by its cover.” Once you get inside, it’s like a high end boutique salon. Shanna was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I had several questions about my haircut and what was dated or trendy and whatnot. She was honest and helpful. She started by washing my hair and giving me the most amazing scalp massage. After this, she went ahead and started the haircut. She was somehow quick and efficient while also taking her time. Once she finished cutting, she dried my hair and did a little more cutting to even everything up. Finally, she flat ironed and styled my hair. I could not be happier with the cut. I’ll definitely be back and I’ve already recommended her to my friends. Absolutely a 5 star salon. You won’t be disappointed.

I found ZLuna Salon on Groupon and decided to give it a try. It was a great surprise! The place is lovely, well decorated and equiped. The owner is very professional and gives great advice. And the result was fabulous!! I love the haircut (it is the best I have had in ages) and the partial highlights. I have received so many compliments in the last few days, that I feel I found the best hair stylist in Pittsburgh.

My wife recently moved to PA for work and was looking for a hair salon that made her feel like she'd been going there for years, I'd dare to say I think she found it. The owner, Shanna, was completely booked but still found a way to work her in and treated her as she'd been with her for a long time. Happy wife happy life!

Shanna was terrific! My hair was a mess, and she gave me great advice. I got a cut, color-touch up and highlights. I haven't loved my hair for a long time, now with Shanna's help I feel so much more confident. She is talented! Her shop is beautiful, modern, and clean. Wonderful place!

took a chance and bought a groupon for this place for my first visit, and after my appointment i scheduled my next visit right then and there! shanna was very nice and accommodating, getting me an appointment the same day i called in. the salon itself is a relaxing place to be, and even with her dog luna (such a sweetie!) there hanging out for the day, it was very clean and neat.

My four year old daughter and I had a girls' day at Zluna Salon. The salon is beautiful and relaxed. My daughter got her nails done and was extremely chatty. Shanna talked with her the whole time, making Nina feel very important. I got a new hair cut for the first time in years. We were both so happy and had a great day! Thanks Shanna!
